I have loved my Brooks for years - I wear them for running, but they are also super comfy for walking. I bought this pair specifically to wear for travel abroad knowing there would be a ton of walking. These shoes are neutral colored, so I was able to wear them with all of my outfits, and then also for a run if I wanted to. The weatherproofing is what sold me though - I hate wet feet, especially when I am out sight seeing all day. I try to pack carry on only, so I don't have the capacity to bring an extra pair of tennis shoes if they get wet - and these were an amazing solution!

These are great shoes. I live on a golf course and my spaniel loves to walk down the rough in the morning. This shoes keep my feet dry and comfy. They're also incredibly well made. My spaniel invited herself to a pair a few days ago. Despite being bummed about the financial loss, I was really impressed with the inner part of the shoe. Ordered another pair straight away after finding my shoe destroyed!

I love Brooks shoes. I have both Ghost 16 and Adrenaline GTS 23. Both are great. Ghost is wider and more cushy. Adrenaline has firmer, more stable support. I have found that I have to go up a half size in all Brooks shoes. That means going from my long time standard 9 to 9 1/2. Ignore Amazon’s “recommended size”. Mine was 8 1/2. Not sure where that comes from.

I had very high hopes for this shoe based on the reviews. I was honestly very let down. I was planning on using these for work. I’m on my feet for hours on end. I tried these on and I will say if you do plan on buying these I would size up. I usually wear 5.5 but if I were going to ever purchase brooks again it would be a size 6. For reference I have a normal arch and my foot is skinny. I tried these shoes walking around the house and doing some chores. When I was done with all of it my feet were throbbing. It was only 4 hours. I didn’t like the pain that was shooting up my leg. I’ve never experienced it. I am honestly glad I didn’t wear them to work. After a 10 hour shift I simply think I wouldn’t be able to work. In the beginning I did like the how it felt walking with the shoe but the sole just didn’t feel good. For the amount this cost I expect this to be so much better. On a positive note the color is very cute.
