I have worn Brooks for years and they are my favorite workout shoe, and the only ones I will buy for working out. They fit my feet, especially with my high arches, they're comfortable, and they are supportive. I have a bunion on my right foot and a neuroma in my left foot, and these keep me from pain in those areas, as well. I have never ever spent this much on a sneaker. Ever. But after buying some cheaper brands and having a lot of foot pain, I decided to try out these newer Brook's. Note that in the vid and the images I had worn these to the gym so if the bottoms look a little scuffed, that's why - they came new and in the Brooks box with tissue. These don't have the old style 'tongue' and I prefer that as that way the tongue isn't slipping around. I ordered a size 7, which is what I order in all my shoes, and they fit perfectly. My toes don't go all the way to the end, and they are snug enough at the instep but not tight. I love this color so I'm glad I took the chance to order it. Something different. The inner sole insert isn't as thick as I thought it would be but these are cushiony. Underneath that insert it's pretty firm, but that helps with support. I don't want a shoe that's too squishy. I use these for treadmill walking, running on the treadmill, and resistance training. Doing my squats, I felt very stable. Could I have ordered a less expensive Brooks and been fine? Likely. But I'm still glad I invested in these. They'll last for a very long time - years. Yes, some people don't keep their shoes for years, but I do, and with Brooks they have lasted and lasted. Once the sole is worn down enough, I transition them from gym shoes to outside walking shoes or just every day going somewhere shoes, so they last me for years. I have had trouble with some Brooks fitting smaller but not these - they're perfect. Love my Brooks. ... show more

I’ve tried a LOT of shoes over the years, and these are hands-down one of my favorites. The Brooks Glycerin StealthFit 22 are truly an all-around shoe—great for walking, group fitness, light running, even lifting. The fit is amazing. The upper is a soft, breathable material that really molds to your foot, and the laces give you a nice secure feel without being too tight. They’re cushioned, supportive, and have great grip (I do a lot of side-to-side movement, mountain climbers, burpees—you name it, they hold up). Bonus: they’re lightweight and the material is washable, which I love. And if you can catch them on sale? Even better. Highly recommend—these are a win. ... show more

This is my 4th time buying these shoes and they are excellent quality. I run multiple times per week and these shoes make me feel very supported and comfortable. The upper is extremely breathable and they are good to wear all day long. It’s advised to go up a half size for running shoes and I’ve found that works very well for me (Ignore the goofy socks in the photo, I originally took this pic for a different review) ... show more

I would recommend sizing up. I usually wear a size 8, but these run snug. They felt okay at first, but after wearing them all day, my feet were hurting. Going up a half size would likely make them much more comfortable.

Walking is always a breeze in brooks shoules for me, and these are no different. I have no arch in my foot so I've had to hunt for a comfortable shoe for years. These feel just as comfortable to me as the ghost line, which have been my favorite. I got a great deal on them, and it was absolutely worth it! They look super cool, I got them to match my boyfriends Nike shoes, his have a black portion that runs to the back of the shoe at an angle too and these were perfect. First pair of real running shoes for our 15 year old daughter. She said she didn’t have ankle pain after running in them! She also said she felt like she was “ running on clouds”. She typically needs wider shoes, but these fit her perfectly!
