I add in a PowerStep insert also designed to assist with overpronation and I have exactly what I need! I wear a 9.5 in street shoes but purchase a 10.5 in these. This allows for my toes to swell if they need to during a long run or workout. No, the larger size does not flop around like a clown shoe!     • Cushy, Supportive Ride with Room in the Toe for Runners!

My (current) favorite running shoe! I switched to the Glycerin GTS 22 after they changed the fit/sizing on the Adrenaline. This is a much cushier run while still having the support the Brooks GTS line provides. I also appreciate that there is more room in the toe box - I find I have less problems with blisters on long runs with the Glycerin GTS. I know they are switching to Glycerin 23s and am hoping they don't change the fit too much. Part of my motivation for buying these is that I love them so much I wanted to make sure I have a back-up pair! I did buy this colorway to use in the gym (for treadmill running when the weather is bad). I run on a trail when I'm outside, and the white would not stay white for long. :) ... show more

I have worn Glycerin GTS 20, 21, and 22. I noticed a major change in fit and control from 20 to 21. 21 to 22 just got more comfortable. The toe box seemed slightly larger. Arch support is great without orthotics. The cushion is more supportive yet firm. I feel like I am walking on air but my feet are cradled. My podiatrist approved 100%. I am not a runner. I am 80 and these shoes allow me to walk and stand longer. I previously wore the Ghost but this is a vastly different shoe and definitely worth the price of <120. I tried the Brooks Adrenaline and it is a good, supportive shoe, but this is a step up. Brooks shoes just keep getting better. I won't wear any other shoes. ... show more

This is my first time investing in a pair of Brooks. The moment I tried the shoes on they were instantly comfortable for me. They fit perfectly. They have been my primary work shoe and I'm pretty hard on them since I'm on my feet 8 to 10 hours a day. They feel both lightweight and supportive at the same time. For more context, I do have plantar fasciitis, sciatica, and I'm overweight. I have been using these as I train for my first marathon! I never thought shoes would make such a big difference in my running, but they totally did. These have been great for the beginning of my running journey. I love the design, and they are very high quality. I have already put so many miles on these shoes, and they are still holding up great! These are excellent running shoes overall, but I had to dock one star because the toe box wasn’t quite wide enough for me. That said, the comfort and support are top-notch. The cushioning is plush without feeling heavy, and the stability is great, especially for longer runs or days when my feet need extra support. The quality is exactly what I expect from Brooks—well made, breathable, and very comfortable through the midfoot and heel. If you have narrow or average-width feet, these would probably be close to perfect. Unfortunately, for wider feet or if you like more room in the toe area, they may feel a bit snug. Usually wear a wide but ordered the x-wide. They feel great! Love the color. Shipping was great and well packaged. This is my 2nd pair of Brooks Glycerins and I love the fit and how they make my feet feel. Would advise though that Brooks makes several different styles and they are all a little different.
