This is a great shoe with cushion and support, but it is not a stability shoe. I have arthritis in my forefoot and this shoe has too much flexibility in that area. If not for that, would have kept it.

These shoes are well made ..but ..for the price, the cushioning is lacking. I am 77 ..have Plantar Fascitis and other old foot injuries ..but I walk 2x's every day. I usually wear New Balance and take one old insert from the former pair on put it on top of the insert the NB comes with. That provides more cushioning than the Brooks Glycerin .. However, the Brooks shoe is comfortable and does provide support. I can't seem to wear the NB any longer even with the 2 inserts as the injuries flare up ..I don't need ANY inserts with the Brooks ..The 'stock' insert is ok but I would like to feel more cushioning for the $$ since I walk on concrete. It's a good product but pretty expensive. I'm hoping they will last longer than my usual 2 months with the NB ..maybe I won't need to buy new shoes as often ..that would offset the price which is 3x's higher than my former NB brand. We'll see in a two months how much wear the Brooks shows.

Absolutely love these shoes! The shoe support has really made a difference with my overall workouts, knee pain, hip pain, and back pain. However, I had read on multiple sites that you should order half a size up... which I shouldn't have done. Right away the shoe fit perfectly but after breaking them in, they are slightly too big. Would absolutely buy these shoes again, but in a more accurate sizing! Order your normal size!

I really love these pairs of shoes from the minute that I put them on my feet. The comfort on the bottom of my feet and no pain due to my plantar fasciitis. I can walk all day and I wish I could wear them to work. I will be buying another pair.

I had severe foot pain, numbness, and cramping while working a 10-hour shift walking on concrete. These shoes ended that. My feet may be tired, but there is no pain, and they come in wide widths. What a joy.

I've been buying Brooks Glycerins for years and have always been happy with them. These are the level of comfort I am used to, but infuriatingly they come untied almost every time I wear them. I'm not a runner anymore due to arthritis, but I can imagine I'd be even more annoyed if I had to stop running to tie them instead of stopping while I'm walking the dog.
