This is the first review I have ever written for shoes. I ordered 3 (XW) pairs of these (total) after I wore the first pair on vacation. They are extremely comfortable and supportive. I am so pleased I found these. The XW also come in black and are great for wearing to work. The pink and blue combination in the XW looks good together. I ordered my regular size in XW and also one half size smaller in XW to find which ones fit better. The smaller XW fit better. My kids also wear these to work (regular width and wide width) in different colors and in black. They wear their regular size they always wear, no sizing up or down. These are the Brooks Ghost 16 in size 7B. I did have them fitted when I went to a "custom insole store" fell in love with the shoes! I have a EXTREMELY HARD TIME finding shoes due to the severe Neuropathy in my feet (lower legs), especially my toes on my Rt foot. These shoes are the best!! The cushion, arch support, bottom grip (pattern), Awesome!! And you can still put in a arch support or something if you want or need to. Then the color is really nice. Durability should be good it's Brooks but, I will let everyone know in a few months how they are wearing. I wore them all over town today after wearing them just a few hours at home and my feet and legs didn't hurt any worse. These are the first shoes in a long time that I've actually been able to wear straight outta the box with no issues! Definitely recommend! ... show more

Thank you Amazon for the less than 24 hours delivery! These Brooks Ghost are amazingly comfortable! I'm recovering from broken 5th matarsal bone in my foot! This shoe was Doctors recommended and I'm more than happy after wearing them. Very comfortable, supportive, excellent guality, fits true to size! I'm walking comfortably in them. Although I returned these I did so hesitantantly. They were so comfy but alas they were too small. I LOVE Brooks Ghost shoes. Actually all Brooks are amazing but my favorite is the ghost series. These 16s differ from the 15s in the width of the toe box. They are more narrow, so for those with wide feet like myself these shoes probably aren't for you. I would highly suggest you look at the ghost 15s however! I kid you not they saved me from excruciating pain. I work in food service and I would be in tears halfway through my work day. By the time I got off I would be limping and miserable. I tried so many other shoes and nothing helped! Until I found Brooks. The ghost 15s could not be more comfortable! They are like walking on a cloud. They have great arch support, a mesh top which makes them less constrictive and more breathable than others shoes. They are hands down the best shoes I have tried. If you are considering purchasing them just do it! I promise you won't be disappointed! Especially if you've been in pain and need a shoe to help relieve it. I typically wear a size 8 1/2 wide and with the ghost 15s I purchased a 9 wide and they fit perfectly. The 9 regular ghost 16s were too narrow. ... show more

I ordered the 7.5 medium size and it fits perfect for my foot. The size 7 medium rubbed my pinky toe. They arrived quickly and I am very happy. When I told my friend how much I paid for the shoes, she gasped. And then, she tried them on. She loved how light and supportive they were. I told her to do a cost analysis of the shoe. How many days/minutes/miles she would wear them over 9 months, add in the support that the shoe gives - which will take away shin splints, keep her hips in alignment and her spine healthy, then divide it by the price.
