Great work shoe for being on your feet!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent work shoes for long days on your feet I’ve been wearing different Brooks shoe models for about 10 years, and they continue to be my go-to work shoes. This pair has been one of my favorites. I was worried the light color would get dirty quickly, but they’ve held up much better than I expected and clean up surprisingly well. The traction is excellent, and they’ve provided great support for long shifts. As a CRNA, I’m on my feet most of the day, and these have been incredibly comfortable from start to finish. One of the biggest benefits for me is that they’ve helped keep my plantar fasciitis from flaring up, which is a huge win. If you spend all day standing or walking, I highly recommend these shoes. They’re comfortable, supportive, durable, and have exceeded my expectations. I would definitely buy them again.

Great sneaker!!

I bought Brooks sneakers for women for my planner fasciitis heal pain. They were recommended by my foot doctor as well as a physical therapist friend of mine. I bought them at the end of January 2026 and it's now March 5th 2026 so I've been wearing them a little more than a month now. I have also been wearing compression socks since around Christmas 2025. I went to the foot doctor in December of 2025 and he performed some sort of ultrasound treatment on my heel. The pain went away by the end of the visit / treatment. Two days later the pain came back. After my visit I stopped walking on my treadmill for about a month but that did not help the pain. I continue to wear the compression socks everyday but not to bed just during the day. The pain was still there. This is day 8 now that I have no foot pain. I believe that is all due to the Brooks sneakers. They have an orthopedic insert built in the sneaker that keeps the arch lifted so it's not collapsing and causing pain. I still wear my compression socks everyday. I would recommend fascia fix compression socks. They're a little pricey and they don't come in a two pack you have to buy them separately and I believe they're about $16 a piece. Trust me though it's worth it! I only need it for my right foot but I didn't want to take any chances that the same thing would happen to my left foot. So just give the sneakers a little time to work. Don't return them after a week because you feel they're not working you have to give them some time. I am back walking on my treadmill with no foot pain. I started out walking a mile because I was scared but now I'm up to 2 miles and I'm not waking up with foot pain so I'm so happy. Good luck!

My favorite shoe for a flat and wide foot
I’m a Brooks Ghost girl all the way, and so is my daughter. These are super comfortable for my flat feet and always look great. They’re definitely worth the money and provide my feet with the firm support they need to be on my feet all day. They run true to size and are a bit wider than some other brands which is great because my feet are also a tad bit wider. They’re not wide enough for a wide though. Ghosts are breathable, but the extra material that helps them last longer also stops them from breathing as well as a lighter shoe.

I’d Rather Invest in One Good Pair of Sneakers

I’ve learned that when it comes to shoes, especially ones I’m going to wear frequently, I’d rather invest in one good pair than keep buying less expensive sneakers that I don’t find as comfortable. The Brooks Ghost Weatherized have been a great choice for me. They feel cushioned and supportive, but they don’t feel overly heavy on my feet. I also really like having the weatherized version for days when the weather isn’t ideal. Another plus is the neutral color. They’re easy to wear with leggings, jeans, joggers, or casual everyday outfits, so I can get a lot of use out of them. They are definitely an investment compared with some sneakers, but comfort is one area where I personally think spending a little more can be worth it. If you’re on your feet a lot or simply want a comfortable everyday sneaker, I think these are worth considering.

RUN TOO NARROW AND TOO SHORT
Great shoe, Always got Brooks for walking in the past. gave 4stars because they came in white, not the blue ordered. Not a big deal , but WAY TOO SMALL. If you are a size 8M in your old model ghosts, Order size 8.5 wide. (i just did reorder Ghost max, 8.5 W and am excited to get my fav, Brooks shoes that will hopefully now fit. ) My bare foot length is 9.5 inches. MY big toe absolutely touches and is scrunched against the top of the toe box. All toes very cramped. Tried to wear thinking maybe they stretch, 🙄 and got big toe and baby toe blisters between toes. i believe Brooks ghost style shoes are now sized smaller because My very old Ghost 8M 14, still fit fine. PS I also ordered a Revel 8, last week size 8.5 M not in wide, ( my fault for that) and they did fit. Long enough, A tad too narrow but ok. I did get a blister, was way better in thin socks. If you are 8M get revel 8 in 8.5 W. TIP: it was suggested to me to order TWO sizes if unsure and return the one that doesn't fit. nowadays, returning to whole foods is a cinch!

Great for NURSING SCHOOL and beyond!!
This was my shoe through nursing school and after two years of constant wear, year, and innumerable amounts of washes in the washing machine, the shoes still look BRAND NEW!! I wore these shoes to my nursing Nightingale pinning and I wore them to graduation as a joke. I swore I slept in these shoes because I had to get up so early in the morning to be at clinicals! If that does not tell you how GREAT these shoes are, I'll tell you more... The color is all white and that's perfect for nursing school. I have high arches so I need good support. The arch support is amazing. After 10 hours of clinicals and class my feet did not hurt. My brain hurt, but my feet did not! The stability is great. I never felt like I would slip in a puddle of spilled urine. They are highly wearable and stretch and flex with my feet. The toe box is wide enough and I have wide feet. I had to buy a medium width because wide was not available. I was worried that they would not fit well, but the medium width fit perfectly. I still wear my white shoes. I just took my dog for a walk in the park with them on. That was a bad idea because now they are dirty, but that's okay because I can wash and dry them for the millionth time and they will still look like new! I also bought this shoe in all black and I know this is a review for the white, but I'll just say the all black ones do not disappoint either! I highly recommend!!

Never have or will buy a different brand after my first pair!
Brooks were recommended by my foot/ankle orthopedic doctor, and it helps with pain in my bad leg and back pain all while on my feet for long hours as a nurse. I do remove the insoles and use powerstep inserts for high arches because very shoes have them. I used the Brooks shoe finder on their website annd easily selected the best pair for my needs- cushion, firm support, and bounce. I hope they are as great for your body as they have been for mine! Size is as expected for me, but my mom needed a half-size larger than she normally gets.
