I cannot express how much I LOVE these shoes. It is not just the brand as much as it is the style: Ghost. I have finicky feet and these are the most comfortable I have used. I purchased these online because I could not find the color scheme in the stores. I love the look of these and I was adamant about finding them! Only place I could find them was here as all other places were sold out in my size. Additionally, the fit is true to size for the brand and for all other similar brands I have used. If you are a size 9 in Nike, you will likely be fine with a size 9 in Brooks. Lastly, Brooks has been my go-to brand for awhile. This is probably my 5th or 6th pair from Brooks. They usually last about a year or so of almost everyday use before I start to feel them becoming less firm. I tend to lose heel resistance in my shoes first and Brooks has lasted a long time in comparison to other brands. It is now the brand I'm most likely going to purchase in the future as long as the quality does not change.

It’s been a long while since I’ve worn a Brook shoe. Years ago I worked for podiatrist and this was one of the brands. He always recommended to his patients after surgery. I have had three surgeries on my right foot. At this point I have a metal plate and four screws in my right big toe. That was 13 years ago and my toe has been numb and uncomfortable ever since. Also, the second toe has had pain and numbness as well. I was beginning to think the rest of my life. I was just going to have to put up with pain and then numbness. I started wearing these shoes about five days ago. The numbness went away in both toes and so did the pain. I must admit the pain and numbness is still there if I put on my slipper, walk barefooted, or wear another shoe. But when I wear these, I have no pain in my foot.! I just bought a second pair as I realize these are going to be my go to shoes. I went for a short walk of about 1.25 miles yesterday and experience no discomfort! I am not making this up And if I read this written by somebody else, I would probably not believe it. but this is an honest review from someone who has purchased these shoes. The fit was good. I wear a 7 to 7.5 and purchase these in a 7.5 size. I tend to have high arches narrow heel, but was able to wear the regular 7.5 size with a thin sock.

Great shoes at $99 each. Retired senior-jogger, now hiking hills and stairs. For first time, tops of my feet begin bothering me. Saw a (younger) woman moving at a brisk pace, noticed her shoes, and asked if she liked them. She loves her Brooks' Ghosts. Been years since I jogged in Brooks. Tried a couple other brands recently, but still troublesome. So I bought this colorful pair and solid black pair. Feet pain eased immediately. Alternate shoes during week. Over a month in, feet feel normal again. (Think I had/have an arch problem.) Did go up to size 8.5 for both; had been a solid 7.5 for years. Particularly like the extra toe space of these Brooks. Should have never left. All's well that end's well... ;D

My wife is a regular runner and has loved Brooks as long as I’ve known her. This shoe model works especially well for her. She just ran her second marathon and these were her shoe of choice for it. She did still get blisters on her toes, but not noticeable and it hasn’t been painful, so we think we just need to get her better socks for these long distances. She only has good things to say about these, so I only have good reviews to leave! Note, this color does get dirty a bit easily if that matters to you.

I have been wearing Brooks for the past several years, not always the same style, and was able to go down a half a size due to a significant weight loss. This was the second pair that I wore that were the smaller size 7 1/2. Well, this pair has been hurting my toes; the tops of my toes. And I don’t understand why, because they were not too small, and the first pair of 7 1/2s fit just fine and caused no problems. I had to quit wearing this pair sooner than I normally would and get a new pair.

This was my shoe through nursing school and after two years of constant wear, year, and innumerable amounts of washes in the washing machine, the shoes still look BRAND NEW!! I wore these shoes to my nursing Nightingale pinning and I wore them to graduation as a joke. I swore I slept in these shoes because I had to get up so early in the morning to be at clinicals! If that does not tell you how GREAT these shoes are, I'll tell you more... The color is all white and that's perfect for nursing school. I have high arches so I need good support. The arch support is amazing. After 10 hours of clinicals and class my feet did not hurt. My brain hurt, but my feet did not! The stability is great. I never felt like I would slip in a puddle of spilled urine. They are highly wearable and stretch and flex with my feet. The toe box is wide enough and I have wide feet. I had to buy a medium width because wide was not available. I was worried that they would not fit well, but the medium width fit perfectly. I still wear my white shoes. I just took my dog for a walk in the park with them on. That was a bad idea because now they are dirty, but that's okay because I can wash and dry them for the millionth time and they will still look like new! I also bought this shoe in all black and I know this is a review for the white, but I'll just say the all black ones do not disappoint either! I highly recommend!!

I will never buy another pair of sneakers again that are not Brooks. I am older and have beat up my feet over the years by running and power step classes, and I walk miles a day teaching. Now battling a mean bunion and pronating ankles. I would have terrible luck finding a supportive sneaker that helped keep my ankles straight with a wide enough toe box. Someone steered me toward Brooks. What a great shoe. I can walk all day in them and never feel uncomfortable or unsupported. My ankles don't get sore anymore by end of day. They aren't ugly like other supportive sneakers. If you especially have bunions and can't stand a shoe pressing on that bone, get Brooks.
