Very comfy and supportive for trail runs. Not great for paved surfaces as that is not their function. Are holding up very well through lots of dirt and mud and still look great with no ripping of fabric by the toes due to rubber layer over mesh in this region. Seems like I am having less foot and back pain since starting to wear these on trail runs rather that other non trail brooks shoes.

My son bought me a pair 2 years ago. At the time I had swollen joints and found my shoes no longer fit. These shoes were so great I just bought a second pair. The sole wore out on the first pair; but I walk a lot!! Sizes are true. Wirth the purchase fir sure. Hope this pair last a tad longer.

Very comfortable w a lot of cushion. Update: The shoes keep giving me blisters. I had to buy blister socks (double layered) to prevent severe blisters from forming on my heel.

The shoes are beautiful and very comfortable. I'm not a trail runner - I use these for hiking. I've had some instances of slipping on loose dirt and rocks while going downhill but I can't blame the shoes for that. It isn't designed with aggressive lugs for the best traction.

The shoes themselves felt great . Great support and didn’t need my inserts. I am retired so these shoes were worn around my house and shopping. And after 2 weeks the soles on 1 shoe started coming off. So disappointed. Now I had to decide to try and glue them myself or send them back. So I decided if I spent $85 on these shoes I shouldn’t have to fix them so I sent them back. Very heartbreaking so that’s the reason for only 3 stars

These shoes are so supportive and ultra lightweight! I personally like to feel the ground beneath my feet and these shoes provide me that experience. ( so if you prefer more of a cushy feel, this may not the shoe for you. ) The tread is nice and grippy for running on gravel and dirt roads. I run 21 to 35 miles per week so I do expect to reorder a new pair of these!
