  • Comfortable!
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Coconut/Chateau/Portabella
Wasn't sure based on reading conflicting reviews but for me, these shoes are great. Light weight, not too bulky looking with firm support that is comfortable. Not super cushioned but comfortable. I wore these on vacation walking 15/20000 steps per day without wearing them in first and had no problems. I bought wide as brooks in past have felt narrow and they were great and still didn't look as bulky as hokas do. I really like these I wish they offered more colors so i could buy another pair. These are perfect neutral that look tidy and go with everything. ... show more

  • Most comfortable shoes coming from a nurse!
Size: 8 Color: Mercury/Ebony/Sweet Lavender
I wear a size 8 on all my footwear. This shoe brand is true to size, not tight in the toe box at all, which is important for me because I have wide feet. I work 12 hours ans a nurse and I’ve tried other name brand shoes (Hoka*, OnC*ouds, UltraBoost by Adid*s) and these are by far my comfiest shoes to wear. I wear it with thin and thicker socks and either way, it’s comfortable. The bridge of my foot does not feel sore at the end of my 12 hour shift unlike when I wear the other brands. My feet were sore wearing OnCloud* because the materials are thinner (in my opinion). The sole of these Brooks doesn’t feel like it’s wearing out as fast compared to when I wore Adid*s UltraBoost (those soles are thin). I rack in about 10,000 steps per shift. My previous OnCloud* wore out pretty quick on the sole and the eyelets where I tie the laces wore out quickly, too. The eyelets on this pair are good quality, thicker, and doesn’t seem like it will wear out fast. Color combo is ok. Not as flashy or colorful as your Hoka* or OnCloud* but I want and need something that is durable and can last a little longer than 3 months before wearing out for the money I’m paying for. Overall, pretty happy with these shoes for work. I don’t mind the other brands to wear for other purposes (errands, gym, erc) but for work, it will be more Brooks shoes in the future. ... show more

  • Perfect!
Size: 8.5 Wide Color: Coconut/Chateau/Portabella
Sizing is accurate, the shoe is very comfortable, has a lot of support, and is nice looking. There is nothing not to like with this shoe. Highly recommended.

  • Foot and Ankle Dr approved
Size: 10 Color: Coconut/Chateau/Portabella
Not many color choices. The coconut is the most neutral color. I have tendonitis in all of my tendons, bursitis, and plantar fasciitis (all the -itis a foot can have). My foot-ankle Dr suggested this brand and style. I do not like sneakers but man, these shoes are so supportive and comfortable. Are they worth the price? My purse does not like the price, but my feet feel better even before the added orthotics. ... show more

  • wonderful extra wide width shoe!
Size: 8.5 X-Wide Color: Ebony/Black/White
Great extra wide width shoe. I've worn Brooks Ghost for years, but with my most recent Brooks 17, my foot spilled over" the outside. I hate developing callus where my foot rubs the 'lip' where the insole joins the soft fabric upper. Searching, I saw this shoe as rated top for women's wide width running shoes. This one IS great. as comfortable overall as the Ghost, supportive but not too thick of a sole, stable. The heel is a tad wide for me, but not too bad and I don't think it'll be a problem. (I say I have 'duck feet' - many wide shoes are made for people who have 'high volume' feet. Mine are not.) I so appreciate the extra wide width - my new favorite. ... show more

  • Excellent Shoe!
Size: 7 Wide Color: Mercury/Ebony/Sweet Lavender
Originally I've ordered the "Ariel 23" and it was the only shoe I could wear for long walks. (my husband and I walk between 4and 5mi and day, 5 days a wk) I have bunions, and had surgery on my left foot. Though the surgery was successful, I still couldn't wear my usual shoes - New Balance. Always had an extra pair. They started rubbing on my left foot where the sneaker "seams" are. Long story short - had to give away the New Balance, and became a "Brooks" gal forever! I still need to get a "wide" - (bunions) - but my feet felt like I'm walking on clouds. No pain anywhere. When they came out with the "Ariel 24" I was hesitant to buy being the "23" was "perfect." Tried it on a "try before you buy" and was pleasantly surprised! Even more comfortable than the previous one! Support, cushioning, great balance, no seams to rub anywhere- couldn't ask for anything more. Expensive- yes, but your feet are worth it! My old "Ariel 23" have well over 300mi EACH on them and still look great. I had 3 pairs and alternate..(I'm replacing since I'm just starting to feel a little back ache when walking - it's telling me time to replace! I'm ready with 2 brand new upgraded Brooks Ariel 24! ... show more

  • Comfortable
Size: 8.5 Wide Color: Coconut/Chateau/Portabella
I have really bad ankle problems and have tried so many shoes. These are the best shoes I've ever worn. Perfect amount of cushion, lots of room in the shoe box. Comfortable to walk in, not too heavy. I've only had them for a couple of weeks so I can't speak to how durable they are long term.

  • Not like my other Brooks Ariels
Size: 9.5 Color: Ebony/Black/White
I have probably had at least six pair of Brooks Women’s Ariel shoes in the past. They have always been very cushiony and comfortable. These shoes looked great but I put them on and it was like walking on cement. So uncomfortable! I returned them immediately.
