  • Super comfortable for running and walking up hills
Size: 12.5 Color: Black/Classic Blue/Orange
I run about 7 miles, several days a week, in an urban environment with a lot of hills. I try my best to keep on smooth and more forgiving roads, but going up curbs and running on harsh surfaces is part of it. My old running shoes were worn and after running in these my knees feel much better. I like these laces as I don't need to tie a double knot. I usually buy a 12.5 instead of a 12 since I have a wide foot. But these have a wide toe box, so I could probably get away with a 12. I only notice this when I'm walking down a steep hill though, and as long as I tighten the laces it is totally manageble. My first pair of Brooks and I'm hooked. 😁 ... show more

I’ve heard of these from people at work and they didn’t leave me short. They all said the same thing the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever had on my foot and worked in Day after day. Well, that story is so true. These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever stepped in to my warehouse with.

  • Super Comfy and Solid feeling
I could tell as soon as I put these shoes on that they were made well. They feel very solid, in all the right ways. They're also extremely comfortable, currently the most comfortable and supportive shoes I own. I've been having some knee pain while running which is what motivated me to order these. I am optimistic that I will be more comfortable running in these. ... show more

  • Middle of the road shoes
Size: 9.5 Color: Black/Classic Blue/Orange
These are ok. They're not awesome, but they're ok. The main problem I have with them is that if you step on uneven ground, your foot tends to slide to one side of the shoe or the other. Yes, I have the correct size and yes, I tie them correctly. They just don't have great support. I've worn Under Armour sneakers for several years now and they have better cushion and support. I'm not trying to bash these because they're decent. I just want to let future owners of the issue I've run into. I'll keep wearing this pair (until they're beat), but I won't be buying the same ones again. ... show more

  • It was like wearing slippers..
Size: 13 Color: White/Peacoat/Poppy
I bought these because of recommendations that they are the best. And I wasn't disappointed. 3 Day trip of over 15k steps of walking a day 2 days in the rain never slipped once..and my feet didn't bother me and that was the intial wear in of the shoe. I am a overweight person needs support and finding extra wide is very difficult at any size or reasonable price. I was always a competitor branded person until now. I will be getting brooks shoes going forward. ... show more

Size: 11.5 Color: White/Gray/Alaskan Blue
I bought these shoes because the colors are great. However, the fit is awesome—and they are very comfortable. I will say that no-show socks aren’t the best choice with these shoes, however, because the top portion digs into the front of my ankle. Easy fix, though. The laces are good, which to me means they’re long enough to tie and don’t come undone. I’m torn on the traction because I’ve slipped in the parking lot on space lines, which has never happened in any other shoe. Overall, they’re a good fit, great price, cool colors, and comfortable with the right socks. ... show more

  • light running shoes
Size: 11 Color: Blue/Malibu Blue/Black
I have hoka bondi7, bondi8, ghost15, and brooks trace2. The trace2 are the most responsive and the most light. When I run in them I feel incredibly fast compared to ghost15 and bondi7/8. They do not have a lot of cushion by comparison but they are not a brick; they are very flexible and comfortable. I plan to make these my rucking/fast walking shoes but will wear when I want to be fast on roads and timed running events. ... show more

  • Good mix of fashion, function, budget
Size: 12 Color: Blue Depths/Black/White
Looks great. Clean, appropriate for casual outfits, running, or the gym. I bought this shoe after wearing 4 different pairs of Brooks Ghosts after the last few years. Those have more cushion and feel sturdier than the Trace, but they also have a price point that reflects additional comfort features. This shoe is currently in rotation for me for running and strength training. It is not designed to be a weightlifting shoe, but I find it comfortable for all gym activities except squats... because it's a running shoe, so it isn't supposed to work for squats. I've only put about 20 miles on the shoes as far as running is concerned in the 10ish days I've had them. Those first miles are usually the toughest on my feet, but I've noticed no blistering or discomfort in any way. They do seem a little more narrow than the Brooks Ghosts I'm used to, but there is plenty of room in the toe box and I am considering buying these in a second color. ... show more
