To be on the lower end of the Brooks line, I found the trace to be very comfortable and a great walking shoe. Not quite as much cushion as the ghosts, which I also own multiple pair, but found the slightly harder sole to be very stable when walking.

I wanted something fun and colorful that essentially could go with whatever I wear as well as support my feet. These are just the ticket! I have high arches and they support my feet during workouts and long days standing. Cushy some but lightweight compared to other “work out” shoes that I have loved in the past. I have had more compliments in these shoes than any other kicks I have owned. My boyfriend hates them and ai laugh every time someone new tells me they want a pair! Mine might be loud in the sense of different shapes and colors, his are neon and just as loud as mine but single color. I searched many brands and styles and am thankful that I got these! I will definitely grab another pair of fun and comfortable Brooks again!!

They are comfortable and fit just right. The picture looks dark grey but they are true black as you can see on the pics, that's why Im doing this review. Brooks are excellent for running so you can't go wrong with this pair.

I use these to lift and run in. They work great. They're comfortable on the treadmill, with plenty of support. But they're just flat enough to give me a great solid base for squats and deadlifts. This is my second pair of Brooks. My first pair finally wore out after I wore them to the gym for 6 days a week for FIVE YEARS straight! But they're still so comfortable that I'm keeping them for things like walking the dog and running to the store. HIGHLY recommend Brooks. I'm a lifetime fan.
