Gave the Brooks Revel 6's a try because of their popularity among runners and I enjoy a good jog. Man-O-Man are these things comfy! Excellent cushioning on the trail and street. I wear them everywhere. They seem durable. Cushioning is thick so break in was a little longer than thinner soles but well worth it. Definitely recommend for anyone who needs a solid neutral shoe. I’m no runner. I bought these running/training shoes after reading that they were also good as walking shoes, because they were on sale, and most importantly, because my feet could not stand the Asics Gel Venture 8 I had before these! While the sole is kind of hard, they alleviate my usual pain on the left heel! I was able to walk and do shopping and stand for a long time without pain. Brooks have been my go to shoe for awhile now and finally converted my teenager. Bought these for my son who has always been a loyal fan of another top athletic show brand after he wore out a pair of them in 3 months. He put these on and wished he had tried Brooks sooner.
