This do-it-all trainer feels great on the feet because of Stealthfit (the upper is basically a sock holding your foot firmly but gently) and the 6th gen has the same good locked down feel as the 5th, as well as the roomy toe box. In some minor ways, this shoe is more comfortable. The comfort is why I have stuck with the Levitate line. This shoe however is heavy, with a moderate amount of cushioning for longer runs and a bit of springiness in the midsole for a fast, springy feel for faster training. It's a successful do-it-all shoe, but the cost is weight. However, even though the weight is not much different from the 5th gen, the 6th gen doesn't feel as heavy and clunky - probably something to do with the weight distribution. One thing I like is the cushioning height and drop, which are kind of middle of the road compared to today's running shoes. I think it's a nice sweet spot for this long-time hobby runner. I don't want the max shoes that are popular right now, but I'm not sure I'm ready for the low-profile/"flats" trend either. One warning: This shoe is not quite as breathable as I'd like for summer running. Same deal with the 5th gen Stealthfit. On hot days after a run my socks will be soaked. Not a big deal for me (I don't notice it while running) but your mileage may vary.

Normally wear a 9.5 but my toes where touching the end of these so i sent them back and ordered a 10. But changing from these shoes to my weight lifting shoes i can tell the difference in support. The change is so drastic i kinda feel drunk for the first few mins lol. The seam to breath pretty well and i didnt have them long enough to say if the durability is there. They are definitely super light so i barely notcie them. I got them at 50% so the price was pretty good imo.

Brooks seems to be limiting their stealth fit line. It’s a great shoe. I wish there was just a replacement that was neutral cushioned and came in non-eye assaulting colors.

My husband wasn't wild about the pink laces that came with them but I swapped them with black laces in one of my pairs of shoes and we were both happy. Very comfortable and very stylish!

Very comfortable shoe when you finally get them on. There is no tongue on the shoe. It's slip in as you can't expand by lifting the tongue. And the heel crushes down under your foot. You have fish out the heel cup. Otherwise, a very good shoe.
