They are truly ugly running shoes that are so comfortable, very well cushioned. They are holding up well. Will buy another pair when the first pair wear out. Update - After 10 1/2 weeks of running on paved roads, the sole is wearing away quite a lot. There is definitely a tradeoff between cushioning and wear. ... show more

Took a couple of days to get used to the seemingly extra cushy feel, but once you get used to it you never go back to other shoes! I even tried Hoka but this is superior than over rated hoka.
