I am a long distance runner, averaging about 30 miles a week when I am not training for a marathon. I used to be a faithful Brooks runner but a few years ago switched to Saucony. My shoe line-up consists of Freedoms for races up to the half-marathon distance, the Tempus for distances beyond that and for training, and Guides for the steady runs throughout the week. My favorite shoe still is the Tempus, which provides some support, but despite the development away from support shoes, I feel I benefit from some support. The Glycerine GTS was recommended to me when I shopped for a new pair of Tempus', and I immediately liked the slightly plusher feel and comfortable ride. When my Guides hit the 500 mile mark and were ready to be retired, I got these as a replacement. They are fabulous! I have done a few longer runs in them (13.5-15miles) and found that right out of the box, they fit well and provide great support without feeling bulky or heavy, nor do they feel slow. I typically train in the 7-7:45 min/mile pace region and thought, I'd see s drop in my pace when wearing the Glycerins. But. that wasn't the case. They feel surprisingly snappy and comfortable. Of course, all of that is subjective, but you are not reading this as a scientific study. I like them better as the Saucony Guides (which almost feels outdated against these), but still like the Tempus' better. The only odd thing is that I had to size up. For years, I was a 12.5 in all my running shoes, but here I had to size up to 13. That's not much, 5mm, actually. And now that I have 60 miles in them, they loosened up a bit. Overall, an excellent shoe! They spark joy!

I was born with clubbed feet, I have flat feet, and plantar fasciitis. These shoes have been a Godsend! I am able to now go for extended walks, stand for lengthy amounts of time and not deal with ANY pain! They fit as expected and are very breathable. There is also a tremendous amount of arch support. Worth every penny. Quality shoe, great look, and durable!

Since I started jogging again, I was only wearing Hokas. This is my first attempt with Brooks. I am very happy with these Glycerin 21s! I’ve put about 20 miles on them and have zero complaints. Good lateral stability, great cushion in the heels, and breathe ability make these my new favorites. They are true to size and have a wider than expected toe box. Kind of remind me of New Balance in the toe box. For reference, I’m 6’4” and weigh 285. I’m thinking I may be a Brooks guy now!

I have used Levitate GTS in the past, but can no longer find them in my size. I walk on pavement 5 or 6 times a week for 3 to 5 miles per session and with the Levitate GTS, my plantar fasciitis has been under control. I thought this Glycerin GTS was supportive and wore the Glycerin in my house for less than an hour and found my plantar fasciitis starting to flare up. This is otherwise a comfortable shoe. I will try the Adrenaline GTS next. What happened to Brooks Levitate GTS?

These were expensive compared to a 40 dollar sale shoe but they really are nice shoes. I run 3 times a week trying to get back into shape and these are very comfortable for my 2 miles runs

This my second pair of Brooks Glycerin. My first pair are Neutral and this pair is for Stability and I must say I should have been running in these all along. Very comfortable, true to size and great for putting some mileage for long distance running.
