I work on concrete floors all day and spent a lot of time searching to find shoes. I was in a lot of pain daily but I have big wide feet and did not want to risk so much money on other brands that many reviews said were not wide enough. Figured I would give these a try with the 7 day trial. Immediately loved hove breathable and flexible the entire shoe is. Also fit right so the sizing is accurate as others have reported. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. It's like walking on an inch and a half of stale marshmallow all the time. And the last 1/8th inch of the soles seem very tough and are grippy after 2 and a half weeks I see no wear at all. I wore them for one day at work with only some pain. Next day pain was worse than my old shoes. I thought I was just going to have to get a new job honestly because if these don't work nothing will. Refused to send them back as I love how they feel and figured at worst I would wear them casually instead. Tried them again at work the next week with almost no pain, felt like I just walked to much that day instead of hobbling around like an old man like normal. Hopefully they hold up for a year or two because these solved my biggest issue at work and I will just get more if they last. I can't really think of a negative except the laces were a bit short and I bought some that were a few inches longer. But I guess I could have laced them differently too. I will definitely recommend these to anyone who asks me or if they happen to walk within shouting distance of me for the foreseeable future. My dad and brother are also going to by some for a trip later this year. I don't write reviews often so that should tell you something. TLDR: if you want to walk around on a fluffy cloud everywhere you go or you work on brutal concrete floors all day than try these shoes. Five stars. ... show more

  • Possibly cushier than the 20's?
Size: 8.5 Color: Black/Grey/White
Wow. Just wow. I didn't think the Glycerins could get better than the 20s, but they may have. These things are incredible. You will NOT find a comfier pair of shoes. Not only is the cushioning phenomenonal, but the toe box is nice and roomy. The black has a very stripped down look, which I know a lot of people are looking for. Can't recommend these more highly than I am. 5 star purchase! ... show more

  • Cushy Brooks !
Size: 11 Color: Black/Grey/White
Plenty of cushion and still gives you stability. Brooks quality is apparent. The fit is great for me. I like the simple color option I picked. Plenty of arch support.

  • Best sole cushioning and roomiest toe box
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Coconut/Forged Iron/Yellow
After having 6 glycerine models, I have noticed that Brooks keeps changing the toe box proportions. The 19 was terrible, narrow and pointy. They more or less corrected that with the 20. The 21 is nice and roomy. That combined with the best sole cushioning ever in any glycerine model, or any other shoe I can remember, earns the glycerine 21 a 5 star rating. For me, I continue to size up one full size compared to regular street shoe size. This may not be necessary anymore but it has not caused a problem so far. If you are considering new running/walking shoes, buy the 21 model before the pointy toe contingent at Brooks get their way and narrow up the toe box again. ... show more

  • Excellent shoe, but Brooks are a little too narrow for me.
Size: 11.5 Color: Coconut/Forged Iron/Yellow
I'm 6'1" 230 and need a supportive walking shoe to wear for knee surgery recovery. Here's a review of the supportive running shoes I tried: Brooks Men's Glycerin 21 Neutral Running Shoe - Close 2nd place. Brooks were a bit too narrow for me, but very comfortable and cushioned. Get wide width if you've had a problem with shoes being too narrow. Good support for larger people and kept my foot from falling in on the arch. ASICS Gel-Cumulus 26 Running Shoe - Wow. Maybe the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on. Super soft upper and very lightweight. Lots of cushioning. Almost feel like slippers but still seem supportive. ASICS Gel-Kayano 30 Running Shoes - Very supportive. If managing pronation is your top priority, this is for you. Cushioning is comparable to the above. New Balance Fresh Foam X 880v13 Running Shoe - If you don't like the new shoes that lift you up with tons of cushioning, these are for you. Comfortable and supportive, but you feel more in touch with the road. ... show more

  • Great shoes
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Blue Opal/Black/Nasturtium

  • My son's favorite shoes
My teenage son is 6'4, 240 lbs and the Brooks Glycerin shoes are his favorite!!! He is hard on his shoes because he is very active. He has a high arch and a wider toe bed. These shoes fit him and support him very well. Plus he says they are very comfortable.
