This is my third pair of Brooks Running shoes. They fit perfectly and wear well. Exactly what I ordered. My only caution would be to be careful of the Amazon size recommendation. They recommended a 1/2 size bigger than what I order--I would have had to send them back had I followed that recommendation.

These Brooks Men's Ghost Max 2 sneakers are amazing and extremely COMFORTABLE! The thickness of the padded sole is also more than any other sneaker I have owned. Plus, the shoes are extremely lightweight, compared to the other sneakers I own. Wearing these feel like I am walking on pillows. Second, the toe of the sole is uniquely curved as opposed to being flat like other sneakers. So, when I walk or run, instead of feeling the flat toe when my foot leans forward, my foot just pivots on the rounded sole. That one feature makes a HUGE difference for me when I am walking fast or running. I can walk or run on a treadmill much more comfortably. I love wearing these. They have made a big difference for me. They are pricey, but worth every penny in my opinion.

I wanted to wait a couple of weeks before leaving a review so I had ample time to wear these. I paid more on these than I have ever spent on shoes but I realized the last 3 pairs I bought that I couldn’t wear equalled about the same. Since I’ve gotten older my feet HURT. I don’t like my toes touching anything and the bottoms of my feet always feel bruised and painful. I’m on my feet at work all day and I’m moving around. My feet were so painful I couldn’t even walk in the morning when I got up. After researching I decided upon these shoes. I bought them in an extra wide. First day, I was able to wear them out of the box for a full shift. My feet still hurt and I had to keep sitting every hour or so. But by day 3, I had noticed a huge improvement in pain. Fast forward a couple weeks my pain is gone and I bounce my way through the day. They are supportive and super comfortable. They seem to eliminate most of the shockwaves from my feet hitting the pavement. You almost feel a “bounce” when walking. I donated all of my Skechers and Nikes I couldn’t wear and from now on I will just stick with these. Yes they are a bit on the pricey side, but I feel like they’re worth every penny.

I just finished a 10 mile run in the new Brooks Ghost Max 2 and they were very comfortable and my feet did not hurt after (same cant be said for the rest of my body, but thats likely due to my age!). I previously wore the 1st version of the Ghost Max and loved them, the only difference is I feel like the toe box is slightly smaller on gen2 compared to gen1 but not by very much. If you are thinking of getting these you likely will not regret it!

I initially ordered a size 12 which has been my go-to size for years. However, sizes can vary between brands, and the size 12 in the Ghost Max 2 was a bit snug. I returned them and got a 12.5, and now they fit perfectly. Out of all the walking shoes I’ve tried, these are by far the best. I wear them daily when I leave the house. I also ordered the Brooks Men’s Adrenaline GTS 24 in size 12.5 for indoor treadmill walking year-round. I am in my 60s and don’t run. Both pairs of Brooks shoes are incredibly comfortable and I have not experienced any knee issues compared to other brands. These Brooks shoes are on the pricier side, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for, definitely holds true here.

My podiatrist recommended this model for my unusual feet. I have walked about 15 miles (5 x 3)in these and, at least in comfort and reduction of soreness, they are a marked improvement over my other shoes. Obviously, with just 15 miles walked I cannot speak about the shoes' quality or durability but I have no reason to suspect any deficiency. Years ago Brooks running shoes were recommended for me because I tended to run on the outer portion of my foot. (The person who made the recommendation determined that by looking at the wear pattern on the sole and told me I was an overpronator.)
