Most comfortable shoes ever!
These are the best fitting, most comfortable shoes I've ever worn for standing up or daily wear. (They're still not Keen sandals., but...) They support the foot and arch perfectly, and the foot imprints into the insole and forms a perfect custom fit. The traction, though the soles are thin and flat, is great, no issues. The color is great, all muted black with no extraneous colors or overly visible advertising. They are in my opinion far better than the adrenaline gts24, which made me feel like I was falling forward. The closest competitor shoe I've found is the New Balance 1080, which may or may not be better for walking depending on how your center of gravity is. P.S. Had these four months now and still the same. Only potential downside I've noticed is that the soles "poot" on hard surfaces, probably because they have fairly deep air channels in the middle of the sole that allow air to be forced out as I walk? Doesn't bother me at all.

Amazingly durable—and great looking

My first Brooks. The toe box is a bit small so I got wide in my second pair. Very durable inside and outside. I’ve put 400 miles on these and they still feel comparable to my new pair I just slipped on. I’m only a few years into running. I was an On fan. But Brooks has won me over in feel, look, and durability.

Good shoes for walking, but they run small, at least for me.

I purchased these shoes specifically for my daily walks where I'm aimin for 10-12k steps. At first, I purchased a 11-Wide shoe which is a bit larger than I'd normally get, but I read that some people thought they ran a little small, especially in the toe area, so I bumped up the size in the hopes it would fit well. When I received them, I found that they are still a bit tight in the toe area, but I was hoping they'd break in. However, after a week of my walks, I found that the shoes were comfortable with the exception of the toe area. I also found that at first, I had a little bit of calf pain, but that subsided after about five days and now there's zero pain when walking. I decided that I'm going to return the 11-Wides and I ordered 11.5-Extra Wides. I received those yesterday and put them through their paces today. These fit much better and are much more comfortable. The tightness around the toe area is gone and these are a keeper. I find the padding and support is very good and they're comfortable. I don't know how they'd hold up for running or jogging, but that wasn't why I bought them. They also don't look bad and I can wear them all day with no discomfort, though I typically switch shoes and only use these when I'm on my actual walks, versus general running around. These are my first shoes of this brand and I'd buy them again, but I just need to understand I need to go up about a full size and go wider if I want comfort. I knocked off a star simply because an 11-Wide should have been more than sufficient, but they were not. I've never had to buy a shoe larger than an 11-Wide my entire life until these.

Perfect for Plantar Fasciitis – Brooks Never Disappoints!

This is my third pair of Brooks, and once again, they’ve nailed it. The Ghost Max 2 offers incredible cushioning and support—absolutely perfect for anyone dealing with plantar fasciitis. From the very first wear, I could feel the difference in how my feet were supported, especially during long walks or standing for extended periods. The GlideRoll Rocker makes transitions feel smooth and effortless, and the cushioning really protects my feet without feeling bulky. I also appreciate the broader base—it gives me a stable, secure feel without affecting my stride. It took a second it get used to compared to other styles of Brooks, but it is great and supportive! My feet, knees, and hips feel worlds better! Honestly, my only complaint is that I wish Brooks made men’s dress shoes. Until then, I’ll keep living in these! Highly recommend for anyone seeking comfort, stability, and serious foot pain relief. Brooks just gets it right.

Great walking shoe for older wide feet

At 69 I no longer run, but needed a good supportive yet cushioning shoe for walking day to day and on trips. I used to wear New Balance, but the local running store recommended the Ghost Max2. This is my second pair and it is an amazing shoe. I still have some tread left on the original pair but my knees were beginning to bother me, which can be a sign the shoe is breaking down. Purchased this pair at a discount from the base $150 price tag, I guess because the Ghost Max3 will be out soon. I wish that the 4E widths came in more interesting colors besides this only one, but while not stylish it is drab enough to go with most anything I can wear this type of shoe to. The only problems is that the shoe was questionably truly new. The sole was not worn but had fragments of natural materials in it. I was going to return it, but figured that it was not any more worn than if it had been tried on inside my local running store. Such is the Amazon life.
