As a Brooks Ghost 14 and 15 owner, I was looking forward to the Brooks Ghost 17 because of the reduced drop (10mm instead of 12mm). What I noticed immediately was that with the new design, I had a bit of heel slip when I first tried them on. But after a couple of wears, as long as I kick my heel to the ground before I tie these up, I can get a snug enough fit even with the standard lace configuration that it's not a problem.

Decent road show. Not as soft as the Glycerin 22 but since Brooks can't come out with any good colors I gave these a shot. They are about as soft as the Glycerin 20s when they are worn out
