I have to order a mans (I'm female) extra wide shoe 9 1/2, because I wear comfort toes ( toe spreaders) when I run. The Ghost shoe is one I have been wearing for the last 4-5 years. They have great cushion in them, good heel support. The laces are long enough and flat, so they stay tied. My toes have plenty of room, not squished at all. It would be nice if there was a wider assortment of colors to choose from instead of grey or black, (when you go extra wide the colors limit to those choices), but that's not even a big deal. They are fabulous running shoes for trail and road. Will buy again.

I bought this for my husband and they fit great, he has said that they are pretty comfortable while doing cardio and weighted workouts. He said that they do definitely feel like they're breaking in still but that they do not hurt or feel uncomfortable while they are breaking in. I have had my brooks for over 3 years and as gym shoes they're great for al kinds of exercises from cardio to weightlifting and I think these will be the same for my husband. The designs are also amazing!

I've heard of Brooks over the years and I was pretty much a New balance guy. I wear a B1 width and couldn't find one in my size and style so I went with the Brooks. I usually don't spend that kind of dough on shoes but for once I'm glad I did. Perfect fit, feel and color I like. I think I will stick with Brooks for now on.
