I run 3 miles 2-3 times a week. I am coming over from the Nike Pegasus line and I'm never gonna go back, decided after only one run. Here's why. The midsole is firm and stable on this shoe. It feels like a normal shoe, where the other shoes are a soft layer of that squishy gel stuff, leading to awful stability and doesn't offer any advantages (I believe). The gel did not add to comfort or prevent fatigue or soreness. Not by a long shot. After just one run, my legs feel much better than they usually do. Because of the firmer sole, its a more responsive run. It springs my foot forward better. Because it's a more stable run, I know where my foot is landing, which is on the sole of the shoe. (Yes, this was a major issue I had with 2 different generations of Nike Pegasus.) My foot wasn't moving around inside the shoe and I didn't need to worry about tying my shoes savagely tight to ensure that it did. Stability is a seriously way more important than fancy space aged materials.

Fantastic Shoe. I've been wearing Ghost since version 9, when recommended them for my type of movement. The 15's were released at just the right moment. My 13's* were wearing out and I had a few weeks to break the new sneakers in before knee surgery. After the arthroscopic procedure, the Ghost 15 became essential in my recovery. After a couple of days of socks/slippers only I began to add pressure on the the knee. Wearing the Ghosts seemed to correct the leg into alignment and increased my overall comfort.

I don’t run, but I can walk up to 4-5 miles 5 days a week. I am so glad I found and bought a pair of the Ghost 15 Brooks shoes. It’s pretty light but as sturdy as a solid paid shoes can be. Upon its arrival, I immediately put it to the test and I must report that it did not disappoint. It wasn’t too cushy like other running shoes but provides the balance and sturdiness that shouldn’t make your feet get too achy after a long walk. If you’re a walker like me, you cannot go wrong with these shoes.

My husband has worn Brooks Ghost for the past 6-7 years. He wears an 8.5EE and the Brooks Ghost size 9.0EE always fit perfect. Something was off with the Ghost 15 and it took him a while to figure out why the shoe felt sloppy, the new model runs a half size larger. He plans on replacing with a 8.5EE to see if that fits better.

So for reference, I've never had a "nice" pair of running shoes. I've always had garbage cheapo kinds. I decided to splurge because my feet hurt, and holy cow these are amazing. I feel like I'm floating across the land on little clouds of joy. I think all my future shoes might be Brooks.

I am a high school English teacher. I am on my feet all day long. I have had two surgeries on both my feet and have titanium screws and plates in my two big toes. I have not found a shoe that allows me to move without pain. That was until recently. I just purchased a third pair, and that is within three months. They look and feel great! At 61, I still have it! I thought I could never have relief. What's more, I tagged a teacher half my age while chasing her during a zombie game. Guess what shoes I was wearing?

After my graduate degree and marriage I ran five miles a night for over twenty years; I ran on my toes, always have. I had hammer toe surgery and knee surgery (at the same time) in 2012 and they didn't put a band on my leg to keep the blood pumping; two days later I had a DVT in my ankle. I didn't want to have the left foot done but the pain, just walking, was unbearable. On February 27th a podiatrist performed a flexor tenotomy,in her office in Irving, on my foot. In two weeks, after my foot heals, I will be fine. I wonder why an orthopedic surgeon didn't tell me about this procedure?
