Bought these for running. Haven't got there yet. I do wear them for 8-10 hours on my feet in the restaurant I work in. Second best shoe I have ever wore for restaurant work. They act like non-slips in the kitchen with the traction outsole, you don't slip around on the wet floor. They also are light and supportive for all the rest of the walking that is done at work. I used to wear nothing but Hoka's but now I will never get anything other than Brooks. My #1 favorite shoe for restaurant work is the Brooks Glycerine 20. Those are like walking on clouds. The downfall with those though is they do slip around in the kitchen. I plan on buying another pair of each soon. Fits to size with both pairs.

This is my first pair of Brooks, and I doubt it will be my last. Right out of the box they were very comfortable and have performed well on light terrain in RMNP. These are great for gravel and pebble paths, but you’ll probably want a more rugged trail/hiking shoe for tougher terrain. Oh, and they look good too. Good for narrower feet.
