Shoes are extremely comfortable and make a huge difference in the way my feet feel in the morning. I wish they lasted longer though!!! I get about 4 months out of them before they start self destructing. I also know when it’s time to replace as my feet hurt in the morning. I work on my feet about 6 hours a day and I wear them daily at work. So for 6hrs a day wear and Mon-Fri I get about 4 months of use! Now that’s just when I feel they need to be replaced, but they can be worn still but I feel the difference in comfortability and that’s when I replace cause my feet are my world! Good shoes, arrived on time and as expected. Versatile use - comfortable during two long hikes and for daily wear. Size true to the Brooks sizing chart. Time will tell regarding durability, but I hope they will last a long time!

These are incredibly comfortable shoes. And the London-fog/Coconut/Almond colorway makes for an attractive shoe for a business casual work environment. This is my third pair of Brooks Caldera. The 8 model line seems to be a little roomier than the 6 and 5 models I own, but not so much that it is an issue for me. Compared to the Ghost Max model, the Caldera is notably wider, which is good as the Ghost Max is a little narrow for my foot. These are extremely “cushy”, not a good fit for someone looking for a firm footbed (try the Cascadia instead). I wore my Caldera 6 for several miles of hiking over sand and rock in Moab and they were awesome. Plenty of support. Brooks in general are quality shoes, I think Caldera is one of Brook’s best models. ... show more

Great all round shoe for many different types of walking terrain. Great comfort, and support. Great value for the money, good support for pain. This shoe is a little on the bulky side, if that works for you.

I got these in 10.5 US mens, which is what I normally run in. Gave these a shot on two nine mile trail runs. Length wise these fit great. Had almost a full thumbs width of space in front of my toes. However, it's narrow, combined with the materials having no give, so unless you have skinnier than normal feet this will rub and pinch uncomfortably. For comparision value, I also run in the La Sportiva Prodigio, which is pretty narrow but because of softer fabrics in the upper gives a more glovelike fit that doesn't hurt. The insole and foam underfoot was also rock hard, by the time I was done with the second run the ball of my foot, heel and the entire outer edge of my foot running from heel to toe felt bruised. They had great traction on wet dirt and leaves, no heel slipping or stability issues, but the fit itself was so uncomfortable and painful I can't recommend it. ... show more
