The is my first pair of GTS Beast's and I love them. This is the GTS24 I'm reviewing. I've worn Brook's Ghost and Levitates previously, and although they are both great shoes, I think the Beast is even better. for me it provides a bit more overall support without sacrificing a lot more weight - very slightly heavier than the other two. I especially noticed more lateral support since I have an ankle that likes to turn in uneven conditions and that has not been an issue with these shoes. The cushioning is similar to the other two which is to say very comfortable and a bit more in the ball of the foot (base of big toe). There is ample room in the toe box area as well. I normally have to throw the insoles away that comes with running shoes including Brooks, and replace them at an added expense. I was pleasantly surprised to find the insoles that come with the Beast's are perfectly fine - great cushioning and arch support. I wear these for power walks on various types of conditions including street, sidewalk and some light trails and these are perfect in all cases. And occasionally I'm off in some grass and this is where the lateral support really helps. I wear a 12 Medium and these fit perfectly. For the foreseeable future I'll be sticking with Beast's.

Long time New Balance 1540 loyalist, but when NB introduced the new version 4, I had to find something new as version 4 is a joke (see low 2.5 star ratings on NB's own website). Wore the shoe for a couple days around the house to break it in a little before venturing out on my 4-mile walks. Two days in and the shoe is very comfortable, fits well and have had no issues with blisters, etc., and I walk a route with great elevation changes. I see many pairs of the Brooks Beast in my future!

Bigger guy with high arches. Doesn't get much worse than that. These are always a joy to wear when I need to be on my feet. Wish they would go on sale like the other models do. Fit great with the wide width and support my arches. Also they last a long time. Worth the price.

I have the worst feet to try and put shoes on. Narrow heal and flatter than the Earth is flat. Seriously flat. Every other shoe needs an insert with the best arch, heal, and foot ball support as an insert. Not with this miracle. Finally. A shoe that fits and wears comfortably. Size is spot on (don't forget to go 1/2 size larger for sports shoes).

Brooks are very good shoes and I have several pairs. This particular model has a narrow toe box. My foot is on the wider side so my toes feel restricted. I’m not going to return. I’m going to stretch out toe boxes with stretchers.

I’m surprised how great these feel and how they function. I immediately put In orthopedic soles, slapped them on and felt the better design from its predecessor. They don’t look athletic at all but this isn’t a fashion show. This is about great support and comfort and this is the best shoe yet. Brooks has hit the target with this design. I’ve been wearing this line of Brooks shoe for 6 years and this was a bold advancement in shoe design and I love it. These shoes seem perfect for me.

Excellent. Comfortable and sturdy. Brooks are the only brand of tennis shoes I buy. I have worn Brooks tennis shoes for the last five years. I would like them to make more shades in darker colors. They seem to have a lot of lighter shades available at the end of the season and only black and dark blue colors left at the end.
