These shoes just simply last. My last pair of brooks were the brooks beast 20s and I still use them whenever I'm not training. These gts 23 have great support and feel natural for my flat feet. Definitely worth the price.

Frankly, I love just about anything that Brooks makes. I have the Glycerin GTS, Ghost 15, and now these. These are the ones I wear if I am going to be walking uneven terrain. They are not as cushy as the Ghost and Glycerin, but the support is top notch. The Glycerin are the cushiest, followed by the Ghost, and then Beast. If you are most concerned about support, go with these. If not concerned so much by support and you prioritize comfort over support, but still want some support, go with the Glycerin GTS. If you just want cushion, go with Ghost or regular Glycerin, not the Glycerin GTS. I get compliments every time I wear a pair of Brooks. NOTE: I have wide feet and take a wide or extra wide. Brooks makes great shoes for those with wide feet. More importantly is the volume and height of my feet. The tops of my feet are higher than normal and this makes for a real challenge because shoes are always too tight on the top and I also run out of laces. Brooks does a good job with this and they also have plenty of room in the toe box. The laces on the Ghost were too short for me. I replaced the laces on my Glycerins with elastic laces and used those on the Ghost. I strayed off topic some, but you really can't go wrong with Brooks, in my opinion.

My husband loves these shoes! He wears a 4E width shoe, which is hard to find, especially in a stylish shoe. And bonus, they are comfortable too! They are a little pricey, but in this case, worth the investment.

My son LOVES these shoes. He has a very wide foot and needs extra foot support. He wears the 4E in these. He mentioned he has toe wiggle room in these. We have used Ascics before and they are nice but their cushion breaks down pretty fast. These keep their support in his opinion and mine. The blue color of these particular Brooks is a nice blue and look really good.

I have 4E wide feet. I drive myself and my wife crazy trying to purchase sneakers every year or do. I tried the usual well known brands out there again and I have noticed the quality of those sneakers has gone down. Those brands do not run true to size and there is no ankle support. These sneakers provide ankle support, and they fit perfectly as soon as I put them on. I usually spend $60-$80 for sneakers so these were way out of my usual budget for sneakers, but I am glad I spent the extra money. I could not be happier.

This shoe was on a list of preferred walking shoes offered by my Orthopedic Dr. I was walking 5 miles a day for health and fitness. Results were sore feet. Dr. said biggest problem was my shoes did not provide all around support that left my feet with to much movement inside the shoe. It's now been over a year since using Brooks Beast. Foot pain was much diminished with in a few weeks, pretty much gone within a few months. I replaced them after about 9 months with a new pair. Good walking shoes.
