Brooks always fit me good. these are very solid shoes with lots of support. I bought them for daily walking and I really like them. they are more rigid than normal running shoes; almost a hiking or walking shoe. Also love how they look.

    • Comfortable for an ER Nurse.
I bought these shoes to be my main pair of shoes as an Emergency Department RN. They need to be very comfortable for 12 hour shifts, and after about a month of wear, I’ve got to give it to Brooks. They’re the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn, and I’ve spent a lot on shoes. They have great cushion and support my heels. I’m able to stand for long periods without issue. It feels like I’m wearing pillows to be honest. I’m also very vain, so of course it’s important to have all of those factors along with the looks. They’re great looking shoes and I get complimented on them often! I wore these out on a hike with my dad, and they were comfortable and had great grip. I was able to climb some high incline hills without issue. These feel like they’re good for just about anything, but absolutely great if you’re planning to be on your feet for awhile. ... show more

Never had to order a wide but definitely should have and will be next time. Great shoe, just wish I'd known how narrow they run. I don't run ourdoors, just use as a gym shoe and works great for that too.
