  • My Go-To Brand and Design
Size: 12 Wide Color: Black/Black/Ebony
I started wearing Brooks about three years ago and they really became my go-to about two years ago. Two years ago I had spine surgery, and in recovery not only needed a good shoe for physical therapy, but I discovered that my back was no longer loving the hardwood floors in my house or the concrete floors of my office building (admittedly, with some low pile carpet over them) for long periods. I started wearing Brooks more consistently and found that they made a huge difference in my comfort level across all activities, exceeding a few other brands of shoe that I had at the time. My PT even commented that I had made a good selection of brand. The online tool for fitting on their website was a key in deciding on this particular model, and it has been excellent. Since my first pair, I've ordered three more (for a total of four pairs). One for the gym only, one for around the house and a couple for regular wear outside. I took two pairs on a cruise over New Years, and absolutely trashed a set on a muddy ATV romp through the Mexican woods. A couple wash cycles when I got home and they were good as new. In all, not only have Brooks made me more comfortable than virtually any other shoe I can remember wearing, but they've held up better than most too. For the price, I personally can't think of something that beats them. ... show more

  • Great fit for a 14 W
Size: 14 Wide Color: Oyster/India Ink/Blue
Always have trouble finding a lightweight running shoe that gives good suport in my size. If I do find a shoe it usually blows out on the side, or eyelets do not hold up. This is my second pair. First pair came from a church thrift shop and really liked them. Dummy me wore them one day while doing a quickie weld repair and some hot metal melted a hole in them. I was thankful that Amazon carried these same shoes i my size 14 W. Now I have a "dressy" pair and a knock around pair. Love the fit and the shoe. ... show more

  • Comfort and Performance - Weight Loss
Size: 8.5 Color: Surf the Web/Blue/Irish Green
I am 5'7" and over 200 lbs (obese), so I have always had trouble with finding the right shoes that wouldnt kill my feet during walks. I have been walking for 30 minutes daily in these shoes for about a month and its made a big difference. I have wider feet and I usually get soreness on the outside of my foot during and after walks. With the Brooks, I have way less discomfort and it feels like I am walking on clouds. I have already put over 50 miles on these shoes in about a month and they still look and feel brand new. I would buy these again in a heartbeat. ... show more

  • Very comfortable
Size: 9 Wide Color: Oyster/India Ink/Blue
First off I am a fan of Brooks Beast for years. I had some foot issues and my Podiatrist recommended the Brooks Beast to help improve some of those issues and I have been using them ever since. I am not a runner, my exercise consist of the gym and walking on and of road. I was due for a new pair of Brooks and I decided to try the Adrenaline GTS22 because of the reviews they were receiving. I'm glad I tried them, they are softer ride then my Beast, and they provide good quality, close to the same support and a secure fit. The con's for this shoe is I believe the toe box is a little smaller then my Beast and Brooks was a little stingy on the shoe lace length and the shoe tongues seem a little narrower then the Beast. Over all I happy with my Adrenaline GTS 22, but my next pair of Brooks I'm going back to the Beast. ... show more

  • Brooks Adrenaline give great support
Size: 11 Color: Titan/Teal/Grey
I have been having trouble with my knees and feet. I ordered these as well as a pair of Asics Cumulus. The brooks were superior as far as stellar support and comfort. I do not even have to wear my inserts with these and can be in them all day with no pain. I do not run in them but have heard they offer good support for joints when running, I can say walking in them is a dream. I did have a slight thread coming out when they came out of the box and just sent a complaint about quality control, I was offered a discount for my troubles-that made it even better! The color is a bit loud but something different... ... show more

  • Best sneaker I’ve ever owned?!?
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: White/Grey/Black
Really like (love?) these sneakers. They’re lightweight, provide sturdy arch and ankle support, are nicely cushioned, and seem to be very well made. I use them on a treadmill for 3x, 30-minute weekly runs/fast walks. They’re super-comfortable and make me want to exercise for longer than I was able to previously. Had some plantar fasciitis problems about a year ago which have gotten better with time, but still required me to use insoles to mitigate the pain. I find I don’t need them in the Brooks, so that’s great (a sign of their design and construction) and a $30 cost savings. Fit true to size and width. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ... show more

  • Best Brooks For My Flat Feet
Size: 12 Color: White/Grey/Black
I own Ghost 14, Glycerin 20, Glycerin 20 GTS, and now these Adrenaline 22. I’ve been on a quest to find a shoe to alleviate various foot and ankle pain from my 5-7 mile runs. The Glycerin is an amazingly comfy soft shoe, and thought it would do the trick after just trying them on. However my inner ankle has pain after a week of use (4 runs). The Ghost was too firm. These Adrenaline are just right! Enough support while still feeling soft-ish. I found what I was looking for in these shoes. If I’m walking all day, it will be the Glycerin. For running these are my new favorites! I have zero pain that I’ve had while using other Brooks and various other brands. ... show more

  • What is there NOT to love about Brooks
Size: 12 Wide Color: Alloy/Grey/Black
I typically wear Brooks as my everyday shoes. I have used Launch and Ghost series, which have been wonderful. I love the Ghost 15 and would have gotten them, but my wife told me about the Adrenaline series and how much more supportive it is. I decided to give it a try. The GTS 22 is last years model I believe, which is probably why they cost less than the Ghost 15. They are as good, and maybe a bit better, than the Ghost. We will see how they hold up over time, but Brooks have done well for me. I usually wear a size 12, but with Brooks I go with the wide version - same size - because they tend to run tight at first. That is okay for a running shoe, but for everyday I need to go with the wide version. I highly recommend these if you want good support. They are true to size, but will feel tight at first. Don't let that stop you. Once you break them in they fit extremely well. ... show more
