  • Great Shoes for Orange Theory
Size: 11.5 Color: Peacoat/India Ink/Grenadine
I go to Orange Theory - a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) exercise class - about 5 times per week. There is a combination of rowing, running, and weights / agility. I think these shoes are excellent for Orange Theory, as their stack height (height of the midsole foam) is reasonable, there are some guardrails to provide stability, and enough cushion for 3 to 5 mile runs on the treadmill. Surprisingly, finding a good pair of shoes for the rowing machine can be difficult. If the shoe has too much foam and overly cushioned, one loses a lot of force in the leg drive due to the cushioning in the shoe. The Adrenalines have a reasonable amount of foam and the foam is a bit more firm, so not as much energy is lost in the shoes during the row. The shoes have "guard rails" around the heel of the shoe. The idea behind these guard rails is to limit the heel movement if one overpronates (role in) or supinates (roll out). These guard rails really help with agility exercises that have a lot of lateral movement, keeping the foot planted in the shoe. I have tried agility exercises in running shoes that have high stack heights and limited lateral stability and I;m always afraid of rolling an ankle. The shoes are designed for running and they are comfortable for the treadmill. I can easily do 3 to 5 mile runs with no issues. The fit is ample - the toebox is pretty wide. The feel of the foam is firm, rather than squishy like some of the new foams. There's plenty of rubber on the outsole, so they won't wear out quickly. The only con with these shoes is the foam is the tried and trued EVA (essentially Styrofoam and Elmer's Glue), which I find tends to break down faster than some of the new foams like Adidas Boost, Nike React, and Saucony's Powerrun+. ... show more

  • These are overall a great sneaker: sweet to the feet!
Size: 9.5 Color: Black/Blue/Orange
Support. Comfortable to walk in - more than I thought it would be. Very lightweight for a sneaker. They look nice, too.

  • Super comfortable!
I don't buy gym shoes that often, so when I bought these from Amazon without trying them on first, I was a bit concerned that they would not fit me well. They fit perfectly! These shoes are amazingly comfortable and the quality is exceptional. The style and construction are top notch and they look AWESOME! Highly recommend! ... show more

  • On time delivery
Size: 11 Color: Black/Blue/Nightlife
Worn them twice so far. Comfortable to walk but a bit too stiff for my liking while running on asphalt. I hope this means they will last longer... Laces stay on, good grip, nice colours, they feel ok for 5km runs so far. They have reflective elements, so great for running before sunrise/nightfall. Soles look resistant. But only time will say. I'm a 10.5, but I've always bought Brooks on 11 for better comfort on long distances (for me at least: 18-25kms). Never disappointed. Purchasing and delivery experience went perfect. Exceeded expectations (bought from US store and delivered internationally) ... show more

  • Great for Overpronation
Size: 10 Color: Blue/Nightlife/White
I walk more than 12 miles a day for work and have tendonitis in both ankles. I also have pretty bad overpronation and most of my shoes are turned in at the ankles and broken down within a month. I was experiencing very bad foot pain and limped through the door every night. Until I got these shoes. About three weeks in and there's zero give on the inner support, still going strong. My arches are supported and I have no foot pain. I use power step inserts for additional support but these shoes would likely make a huge difference even without them. Strongly recommend, I bought a half size larger and it fits perfectly. ... show more

  • Brooks it the best on the market for my feet.
Size: 11 Color: White/Grey/Black
I have arthritis in both feet and have had a complete knee replacement on my right knee, so I do not jog, but do walk and hike. While these are no what I use for hiking, I've got expensive hiking boots, I do use these daily for every other activity. I've got this shoe, Brooks Ghost and Brooks Beast. Due to needing motion control shoes any of these three works. The Beast is to me the best for motion control, but they are more expensive and seem a little heavier. This shoe is nice, I can walk 2 miles a day and my feet don't hurt. Perfect arch support looks nice and built very well. I'm 70 and if you are my age, you probably have arthritis of some type so buy you a pair of Brooks shoes. Any of the three I listed. Your feet and ankles will love you for it. ... show more

  • great support and comfortable
Size: 13 Color: Black/Blue/Orange
I had a pair of the same shoe that was wearing out and I wanted to replace them with the exact same brand and model. I wear them for all around use, great for walking. I am 80 years old and appreciate the added support and stability they offer. I also was pleased by the cost savings over what I paid for my first pair in a store. ... show more
