The shoes run slightly small, I think. My nephew who wears a 6 loved them. My son who wears a 1 said they hurt his feet in the front near the top. He loved the style but wouldn't wear them because they weren't comfortable to him. He kept trying to loosen them but that didn't do anything. These are adorable. The red color is vivid. My son has worn these almost every day and they are holding up well it has been 3 months. I have washed them 4 times no issues i do not put in dryer. He told me the shoes are comfortable. I bought a 12-1/2 boys they are a good fit true to size.
