This item was incomplete. Holes were milled out of spec. I needed a 5/16 drill bit to drill the holes to correct size so the bolt will fit. Second thing is there were no holes on the other end. Of which some careful measuring was needed to drill the holes so I can install the clamp on the opposite end. Now it fits correctly as should’ve been from the factory. ... show more

    • Difficult to turn canoe
I attached the motor, using the bar, behind the backseat of the canoe, and it was nearly impossible to turn the boat. Steering the motor only made the boat goes sideways. Wish I had tried this before my return window closed.
