I bought this BriteBrush Baby Shark for my 20month old and it was a fortunate decision! He is so entertained that he now asks to brush teeth every time he walks into the bathroom. Before it used to be a struggle to get him to open his mouth and let us brush. We would be able to get front teeth at most. Now he loves to count the "bubbles" in the practice brushing, then singing all the way through the Baby Shark song. I let him "play"and brush his teeth alone for a bit, then I do the brushing to make sure it is all clean, since he is not even two yrs old yet. Definitely recommend this product to the mommies who struggle to get their little ones to stay still and open wide for brushing teeth time. I also bought the BriteBrush GameBrush for my 3yr old. My initial thought was that he was going to reject it and go for his brother's Baby Shark brush. However, I could not have been more wrong! He absolutely loved going through the games, the lasers, race cars, rock band... and it also counts along in the practice mode, so it is awesome. Though I had to give him a nudge to start brushing up and down and to change sides, he quickly figured it out and basically does all the cleaning of his teeth by himself! So, this thing rocks. It has Three settings: Practice, Baby Shark Song, and Treasure Hunt. The practice and Song mode are self explanatory, but the Treasure hunt is a seemingly ever-changing adventure! With each brushing of a good score, a new walk-through adventure gets unlocked. Dive 500 feet into the sea, swim with dolphins, and more. To make sure the child using it isn't just playing the sound lazily, a constant 'circular' motion (really a side to side motion that is felt by the brush head's ability to bend slightly from side to side), the story continues. If the movement stops, the sound warps out slowly, only to come back on with a slowly sped up warping sound (think when you speed up or slow down music, the beat gets faster/slower AND the sounds get higher/lower pitch) when the child picks up brushing again. Wait too long, and they'll just be graded badly and have to start over. My daughter loves deciding which to do, and makes sure she hears every exciting endeavor she traveled through each time brushing. Or she tries to dance as I brush her teeth, only to have me say repeatedly to calm down so I can be thorough. That is a MUCH easier problem to handle than the screaming/crying/fighting we used to go through with her old, 'boring' toothbrush. We paired it with a chocolate (yes, CHOCOLATE) toothpaste, and now she's easy peasy during brush time! ... show more

My child has sensory processing disorder, and we've gone through no less than 8 other styles of toothbrushes. When I purchased this one, we hit gold! It is fun and engaging, making kids actually want to brush. The games you play while doing so are cute. They prompt you on how to brush, when to change sides, and give you bonus points/coins for doing things properly. The games even level up, just like a video game. One of her issues was the vibration several brushes have. Her gums are too sensitive to that and she'd refuse to brush. While this one has a vibration, it's in the handle, and she "doesn't mind it when her hand wiggles." ... show more

The concept is great but the execution is trash. I can barely shake it hard enough to get the sensors to notice it's being used so none of the features activate unless your violently shaking it which makes it unusable. Giant let down my kid was super excited for this and it doesn't work. Update : my child harassed me until I let him try it again and it works now. Idk if it was a glitch or what but it worked just fine last night when he tried using it ... show more

Trying to brush my toddlers teeth was like wrestling a rabid raccoon out of a trash can. It took holding her down, but in the end she wouldn't open her mouth. At first the vibrations of this toothbrush scared her, but after showing it to her and letting her take her time in getting used to it she LOVES IT. We now get a full 2 minute brush everytime with smiles. The toothbrush vibrates, but isn't electric. My daughter likes it because it "tickles". There is no volume control and it is a little loud, but for a good brushing I don't care. I have been recommending this tooth brush to all my friends.
