  • ... have had this out five times now and really like it, I was going to knock a star ...
I have had this out five times now and really like it , I was going to knock a star off because of the inflation valve they use , but it was my own fault for not doing it right , the valve has to stay in the up position after you inflate and pull the inflator off or the air comes right out .We had it out on a nice lake today and used the trolling motor for over three hours , it did well no problems , I like being able to put it in the back of most vehicles , we even used my sons 2015 Mustang last weekend and it fit in the back trunk of that with the back seats folded down , it seems well made but only time will tell how well it holds up . Update , June 26 , 2017 , we have had this out a few more times including a trip to Lake Powell , the only issue I have is that the floor is a little tricky to inflate , the valve wants to go in the down position when removing the pump , so you have to turn the valve quick to keep the air from coming out , which I can do and the floor is hard enough . I did lose a nut that secured the oar while driving with the boat on the roof , just replaced it with an acorn nut from Home depot , I put a wheel kit on the back , and I use a Newport 46 pound thrust trolling motor with a couple of 35 amp SLA batteries and a 18 watt solar panel that puts out a full amp in direct sun to keep the battery up , I have been able to go out for 4 to 5 hours at a time with the little solar panel ,where as before the one battery would last maybe 2 to 3 hours , it feels sturdy in the water , tracks well , I tried to climb in and it did not feel like it would tip over with all my 160 pounds pulling on the side rope , but I did not have the mojo to muscle over , I am 58 years old , maybe 20 years ago lol . ... show more

  • Goes very Fast and Rows Well
I actually have 2 of these, so I do not have to transport back and forth from Florida to Michigan! I am amazed how well this rows, the little fins really keep it going straight with my 3 HP Nissan motor. We have put 4 in the 2 seat model in a pinch, with smooth water and only going a short distance. The second boat bought in 2020 has a "bleed" issue with the black imprinting on the gray and some of the seams have little wrinkles in them, but so far this has just been a cosmetic issue. Very lightweight and the floor is pretty stiff when inflated, a good bang for the buck. ... show more

  • Worth the price!
This boat has been excellent! It is worth twice what I paid for it. It is a bit too heavy for me to pick up alone, but on the water it is wonderful. I am looking forward to using it again next year, hopefully with a small motor attached. The seats could be a bit wider, that is my only complaint.

  • Quad fin system a brilliant concept that makes this craft track like a dream
Had high quality inflatables for 35 years...this one is well made. It is actually, overall, 12'6". Inflatable floor not to my liking. Cut and finish your own 1 piece plywood floor and this boat will instantly plane with a 2 1/2 hp 4 stroke motor! (single,150lb person and fishing gear). Quad fin system a brilliant concept that makes this craft track like a dream! I also hung a 6 hp Yamaha 2 stroke on it and in no way could have opened the throttle past 3/4. Great price for the boat too. ... show more

  • Great boat!
Great little boat, very happy with it! We took it out in the harbor and were very pleased with the stability and speed. A 55 lb trolling motor is able to move this boat even directly into a stiff headwind. Rows easy as well. My only cons are that is is slightly heavy and bulky to move around and I wish that it would pack down tighter. Also, the included bag is weak and the seams are ripping from carrying it around, that could be improved. ... show more

  • Not safe
Found air leaking on the first try on water, it leaks at the connection between the boat and the valve, so it’s impossible to glue fix! It was scary hearing your boat’s “pssssssss” in the middle of a lake. My husband used it as a fishing boat, he fell in the water trying to catch a fish because the boat is not stable on water at all. Don’t know if I could return, but this is a piece of garbage now. ... show more

  • great boat
I needed a tender for my 32' Express style cruiser. I can stow this in the cockpit for shorter runs or deflate it and stow it away for longer, open water runs. Re-inflates in minutes with an electric pump. Can be paddled like a kayak, rowed, or powered. I have a Evinrude 7.5 that is great with a full load of 2 people, a 65lb. dog, a cooler etc. With a lighter load it is scary fast/fun. 5 hp would do it. After several trips, numerous beachings, and general use it shows no wear. All for $550. One criticism : the oars should be a foot longer to row well. ... show more
