  • Very nice, surprising quality Very nice, surprising quality
My wife bought this for me as a surprise birthday present. I had a tiny one that was horrible to row, leaked air and made it a real pain to get to our boat. She enlisted the help of a nautical friend to pick it out. I'd say they hit a home run. They knew I would not want a wood floor and they were right. This floor is very substantial aluminum. I am impressed. I put it together myself in about an hour so as to be careful to make it right the first time. As with many Chinese things, they don't bother with detailed instructions when instructions would really be helpful. Having just the right amount of air in the tubes makes putting the floor in easy, but too much and its a no go. Too little and it won't hold as well. There is a top and a bottom and the only difference is the edge is angled to fit the tube. I have used it for several weeks and it is great so far. Hasn't leaked any air even thought it says leaking is acceptable! It rows well for an inflatable, it very stable and seems heavy duty. It gets tied up right next to a few others with famous brand names and it has even better oars and looks just as nice and rugged. Its seats are adjustable forward and backward while others have only one spot. Overall I am very happy Update 9-2020: it’s been about 2 years and I am just as happy with it. I used a 2.5hp outboard all year and that made it even easier. Just last week I put on a 9.8hp four stroke and with my wife and I onboard it planed easily, handled well and was fun to zip around in. We plan on putting it in our enclosed trailer with bikes for outings to vacation destinations. The only negative so far is the hand grips on the oars both split and now they fall off. Perhaps the Chinese “forgot” the UV stabilizers. Still a good boat and I will replace the grips. ... show more

  • A stable durable row boat
A great upgrade from my 14-foot Sear aluminum row boat - probably an antique by now! The oars are short but adequate. I use it as a tender for my sailboat, and to go from float to sailboat. I am pleased with it. No leakage or seam problems yet, and it's been five years.

  • Don’t be discouraged by the price this boat is pretty nice.
My experience with this boat has been great! I launch from the beach in high waves even and I can say this boat can handle it all. Very sturdy and comfortable With two people (roughly 400lb) and gear. The only issue is the floor boards and the rails that go on the outside of the floor boards are a very tight fit and you will have some trouble the first few times you do it depending on how savvy you are this could present quite a challenge. I usually deflate the boat after each use and pack it up in my Camry with no problem. Keep it clean and be careful that you don’t cause punctures and the boat will be a lot of fun! Also, I use a 3.5hp motor which is a decent amount of power for this boat. ... show more

  • Very affordable for the quality. Very affordable for the quality.
Very easy to put together, very stable with multiple adults. Seems to be very well put together. Hold air great. We use this as a tender for our large boat and use it all the time. Update: I took this dinghy on a weekend river trip traveling 258 miles on the Ohio river only burning 20 gallons of fuel. This thing is built like a tank! It handles choppy water, barge wake and large boat wake. I used an 8hp outboard and loaded down with gear and reached speeds of 20mph. ... show more

  • Assembly was easy
This boat arrived early! I was pretty excited and decided to assemble it right away. Despite my age and constant attack by mosquitos I had the boat out of the box , fully assembled and inflated in a little more than 1/2 an hr. My observations: Shipping box is heavy. You'll need help Twist the little pins in the valves to make sure they are sealed before inflating Footpump is cheesy and squeaky but works Inflate to 40% and floor assembly will be easy Take a moment to center and flatten the inflatable keel before putting floor in Floor panels are a bit heavy. Make sure the sides line up with each other The final "tent" move to flatten the floor was super easy. Watch the panel alignment. Align the floor side supports with the black reinforced patches on the side tubes Install the seats before final inflation Easy peasy and I like the results. Boat looks tough. Tohatsu 9.8 is set to arrive next week, so we'll see how it goes then. UPDATE: Got the Tohatsu and I'm super-happy with the way this thing goes. Easy up onto a plane and tracks straight and true. Took it to a picnic about 3 miles up the river and it was a smooth easy ride. Beached/relaunched without issue. My son is a really big guy at 6'9" 400lbs. This boat handled him, his sister and me along with a fuel tank, an 85lb motor and a picnic basket. ... show more

  • Great boat! Great boat!
I’ve had it for a few months now and have had it out in the water about 6 times, Great boat for the price sturdy in the water. Takes a bit to set up first time but once the pvc stretch’s a bit it will get easier. Paired it with a 55lb trolling motor which is not bad but i will eventually get a outboard. PS: Great customers service had a issue with the bag and they sent me a new one ASAP. ... show more

  • This is a Disposable boat. The manufacturer does not seem to care, Defects in Manufacturing this. This is a Disposable boat. The manufacturer does not seem to care, Defects in Manufacturing this.
Here is what I have to say after 3 years of owning this. This boat is priced reasonably however if you realize that it will disintegrate in 3 years right around the time the factory warranty stops, then go ahead and purchase it. See the picture I have included for this review. Upon me contacting the seller and the manufacturer they claimed is was damage. This is not the case, the aluminum floor pieces have rivets that are located on the bottom of the floor. These rivets wore right through the bottom along with the rail that attaches the aluminum floors together. The boat was maintained perfectly and unfortunately i did not notice the defect until it was to late. So since they are unwilling to even answer my emails at this point, I would not recommend this boat to anyone. Spend a little more and get something that has a good track record. ... show more
