I attempted twice, yes bought this twice, so that I could have a WORKING Mickey Mouse Record & Play Station. I was extremely disappointed to find both of these did not work. The recording was a fail. It's such a shame because it appears to be structurally well made otherwise, and is a super cute station. I debated whether to keep it just because it's adorable. However, I felt it wasn't right t sell merchandise that does not work, not at the price I paid. It was my fault as I did not look at reviews until AFTER these two attempted purchases. When I did, I saw so MANY reviewers saying the same thing. It is surprising as Brio typically makes a good quality product. Unfortunately and disappointingly this was a FAIL. The speaker doesn’t record what you say. If my granddaughter didn’t like play with this I would return this today. I still might return it.

    • Too Expensive for What You Get
As with other Brio trains/train accessories that involve voice recording, this is very hit or miss to the point where I didn’t even bother with it after having issues recording a couple of times. With that in mind, $25 seems steep for what you’re getting. The plastic is nothing to write home about, unlike Brio’s all-wooden toys which feel like they’ll last a long time. My toddler is obsessed with “mouse” though and he’s happy, so good enough for me LOL ... show more
