High quality orthopedic memory foam eliminates pressure points, while a soft yet durable fabric cover offers comfort. Shredded memory foam allows for better airflow between foam clusters for a cozy, breathable sleep surface. Inside the bed, stitched inner baffles hold the foam pieces in place, so they don't shift or clump while your pet sleeps. For easy care, the plush cover is removable, machine washable and dryer safe. Simply unzip the cover to remove and wash. Pad itself is not washable. There are a few things to consider when choosing a pet bed for your best friend, like where you will use the bed and how your pet sleeps. If you plan to use it in the kennel or in the car, you'll want to measure the exact space the bed will fill. Many BRINDLE pet beds are designed to fit standard kennel dimensions. My question after owning 104 dog beds: can I wash the cover over and over and over, and will the interior retain it's density? Yes! Dog loves it because it's cushy and comfy. I love it because my house doesn't smell like dog. I chose the medium size so Beagle can stretch out and watch her favorite tv shows and she was so pleased with it, she asked that I order another for her crate. The medium is a snug fit for the crate but works great. The thickness of the cushion has certainly made a difference in how she's able to get up after lying for a long period of time. Again, and most importantly, I can keep it clean. The cover can be easily vacuumed and unzipped for washing. Pet owner tip: Walgreens sells hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle that you can use to spray the foam interior--or anything for that matter--and it will invariably remove any pet smell. Urine, poop, nondescript pet stink, whatever. Seriously, it's the best kept secret. Doesn't discolor. Doesn't just cover up. Anyway, spray the foam bed, and by the time the cover comes out of the dryer, you won't even remember you have a teenager. I mean a dog. Who's bath time is the responsibility of your 17 year-old. Who's like having a second dog. Don't judge me. Kids are hard. Update: 2+ years and the bed inserts are still fluffy and the washable cover is still fully functioning. I expected the zipper to retire itself at some point, but no. I'm utterly impressed with this product. I have two of these beds. Both covers have been washed at least once a week for over two years. No seam tears, no fraying at the zipper. On another note, said teenager discussed in my original review, who is now 19 and a college sophomore was just home for break. Genius leaves a bag of M&Ms, a sandwich, and a Costo-size bag of Doritos in the living room while venturing back into the kitchen because he needed a 2nd Dr Pepper--after two Mountain Dews (Bad Mom award. I've simply given up the food battle. He's 6'3 and has the physique of an olympic athlete so he's believes he's invincible. I don't know if I'm disgusted or envious). Now, if you don't have a hound, you will never understand that you cannot leave food unattended for even a second. Beagle ate the candy, ate the chips, and finished off the Mountain Dew. I mean, why would one throw away a mostly empty cans of soda on his way back into the kitchen? Oh, and she clearly savored both the sandwich and the delicious signature-stamped tissue it was wrapped in. This took less than 45 seconds. What happened 30 minutes later was that of a crime scene because Genius decided to jail the dog in her crate for behavior unbecoming and head upstairs. I'll refrain from graphic details, but bed was duck taped closed inside of an industrial strength garbage bag and sent directly to the trash. Replacement ordered without hesitation. Posting another photo of Beagle after she'd plead guilty and suffering a binge hangover on her two year-old bed. And yes, you better believe I made Genius clean up the mess. Messes. Plural. For three days. "MOM! I need help! MOM!" Nope. Not a two person job, kid. Good Mom award. ... show more

Great large dog bed for our German shepherd, our dog loved it unfortunately so did our cat, once our cat marked it’s territory the bed was a gone’er, but if you don’t have other cute little jealous companions then I definitely recommend this for your large dog

I honestly can’t say enough to explain how much our dog loves this bed and how durable it is! We got this bed for him when he was only 6 months old and so small he only took up half the space. He had chewed a hole in his original puppy bed so I needed to find something sturdier, and his little corgi stumpy legs needed something easy to climb in and out of. I also wanted something supportive for him because corgis are prone to hip problems in older age, so I settled on buying this memory foam with it’s nice durable cover and it might be the single greatest Amazon purchase I ever made. He loved the bed immediately, so much that he didn’t even try to chew it up. I swear this thing cast some sort of magical spell on him, he was so comfy that he didn’t even want to mess with it. He is now 6.5 and the bed was still sturdy as ever! It’s supported him all through his life, it’s moved multiple homes and even states (so he slept on it on the long drive to move) and it’s never frayed, never worn thin, never gotten too flat - it has lasted all this time and he loves it just as much as ever! He has several other beds but doesn’t love any of them nearly as much as this one, he will always choose this one over others. The cover is so easy to take off and wash too, and I saw in another review someone suggested just getting a spray bottle of hydrogen peroxide at the drug store and spraying the foam insert lightly to clean it and that had worked out great for us. I’m so glad this bed is still in stock because we just had to buy a new one. Not because anything broke down with the bed itself - it was still in great shape, but sadly our cat had an accident on it that soaked through and we couldn’t salvage it. But we ordered the exact same bed and as you can see in the last photo, my dog was so happy to have it back that he didn’t even let the memory foam fluff up or let me cut the tag off before he got on - he climbed in bed immediately after I unboxed the new one, just as in love with it as the original. Seriously, if you are debating whether or not your dog will like this bed, just buy it. It is worth every penny and if your baby is anything like mine, they will be 100% certified obsessed with this bed for life, and it really will last them for life! I’m so impressed with the quality and durability of this thing, and my dog clearly is too. ... show more

This bed is so thick and plush and looks so comfy! My dog loves it. It it the perfect size for inside her kennel (though a bit hard to remove because it’s so solid) and I’m sure feels good on her getting-a-little-older joints. The cover is easy to remove and washes/dries very well. It’s also pretty tough and hasn’t torn at all when pup starts the furious rearranging of her bed at night. My only wish is that it were waterproof. Liquid soaks through to the foam insert which isn’t washable so you have to try to pat it dry and hope it doesn’t get icky. A waterproof layer inside the cover would be 5 star worthy! ... show more
