I got this for my son when he was about 6 months old, he was afraid of the vibrations it made on the hardwood floor but I let him touch and feel the vibrations until he was comfortable, after about 10 minutes he fell in love with this toy, he is 14 months now and still loves it, it is very durable btw, he throws it out of his play pen all the time and it is In perfect condition. ... show more

Broke in first day of play. On button stuck on and then we couldn't get the little door open to get the batteries out to shut it off. The screw holding the door closed is not a phillips, its some weird bot tie shaped thing. I'll be returning this item pronto!

We have purchased over a hundred of these over the last 3 years. This is our 7 year old son’s with autism favorite toy. The toy has really been improved over the last year. The plates do not fall off or get loose as easily. I’ve found we can extend the life of the ball by opening up the ball and tighten the screws that fasten the plates if they get loose. I would say about 1 in 10 balls do not work as well (not as loud or jiggle as fast) or last as long. Every now and then we get one that does not work at all. It’s very durable. This is by far my baby’s favorite toy. We had to get one for Nana’s house and we gave a few to friends for Christmas. I wish it would go a little longer lol and it’s a little loud for me but it keeps him happy for at least 10 minutes (minimum) at a time.
