I guess I'll add my two cents to the thousands of reviews this little rattle already has! This is one of those classic baby toys that almost everyone recommends, including a lot of child development specialists. As a mom of two, I can definitely say it's worth having in your baby toy collection. My first kid absolutely loved it, he chewed on it, shook it, and it became such a favorite that I ended up buying one as a gift for several of my friends' babies. So of course, when my second baby came along, I bought another one without even thinking twice... and she couldn't care less about it:))) She wasn't interested in the rattle sound, didn't want to chew on it, nothing. It was a good reminder that babies really do have their own personalities and preferences. Even so, I don't regret buying it at all. It's well made, lightweight, easy for little hands to grab, and I still think it's a great baby toy to have or to give as a gift.
