Flavor Name: Pepperoni Pizza
You're never going to be sitting on your couch and say, dang I want some bridgeford pizza like things. They're not for that, they weren't made to be for that. These are made to be durable enough to bang around in your pack while you bust through the woods and climb a big hill. They're made to not turn into moosh or fall all apart when handled carelessly. Theyre made to retain quality regardless of where you take them. They're meant to be calories when a decent meal isn't practical. With that being said, if you're good and hungry, and a decent meal is nowhere in sight, you'll be happy to have one of these in your pack. They are a piece of spongy bread like material similar to a McDonald's breakfast biscuit with some basil flavored tomato sauce, and some stuff that probably isn't cheese. 12 miles back in the woods they're simply awesome. Anywhere else, I'm gonna pass. ... show more

    • Not for me. Your mileage may vary. There's a first time for everything, I guess.
Flavor Name: Pepperoni Pizza
Mostly bread, lacking pizza taste/flavor/essence. Was fresh/unspoiled and had quality; just lacked any 'pizza-ness' apart from looks. Glad I didn't blow 30+ bucks for the whole MRE (different site). This allowed me to sample the key item at a lower investment. Several sights suggested to get these if you didn't want or couldn't obtain the actual MRE. First disappointment from this company. I will still purchase other items they make without any hesitation. (Bread, desserts, folded sandwiches,) ... show more

    • Legendary MRE pizza slice
Flavor Name: Pepperoni Pizza
The legendary pizza MRE. It's shelf stable pizza, not dominoes. For what it is, it's fantastic. It tastes kind of like a combination between those small single serving frozen pizzas and a Lunchable. With the full MRE, it'd be pretty decent as a filling meal, but by itself size wise and filling wise it makes for a good hiking/camping snack or midnight snack. Yes, it's got a fair bit more bread than normal. If you expected a saucy fresh slice.. You probably ate too many crayons. If you have the time, nuke it in the microwave for about 30 seconds, throw some parmesan or something on it and it's solid. At about $6 a slice, it's steep, but if you want fresh scooch down to Costco and pay your $1.50 for a hot slice there. If you want to relive some memories or pretend you were in when the MREs were innovative, or need some food that'll be shelf stable for a while, this is the way. ... show more

    • Very disappointing
Flavor Name: Pepperoni Pizza
Doesn't taste like pizza. Very dry. No instructions. Each box is actually a single square.

    • Pizza day is the best day of the week!
Flavor Name: Pepperoni Pizza
I’ve been watching Steve1989 videos on YouTube and saw the pizza MRE one. I was curious so I ordered these. The Forkful podcast talks about how challenging this was for the US military to develop… field pizza! I just couldn’t resist ordering them. They are pretty pretty prettttttty good. No regrets. For a preserved pizza in a sack, it’s surprisingly spot on to what pizza tastes like when baked fresh and left to sit until it cools. 10/10 ... show more

    • They are lying to you
Flavor Name: Pepperoni Pizza
Whoever told you these are good is lying to you. That being said if the apocalypse has happened and it’s this or hard tack I’d say you’d be lucky to have this but if you have any other options including freeze dried camping food I would steer clear. These were made to last 100 years and I’m 100% sure these cheese on here is plastic. There’s nothing wrong with the ones the seller is selling other than they might be a little old. New or old these are awful ... show more

    • Pizza
Flavor Name: Pepperoni Pizza
Review Image by Sasha
Pizza for the times when you are craving a shelf stable alternative. Not much taste but easy to open package. Very expensive and not fresh. There is almost no pepperoni. I included a photo with a bite eaten - for size perspective. Not their greatest shelf stable option.
