So, I’m over 50 and I’ve tried a bunch of facial scrubs over the years, but Brickell Men’s Renewing Face Scrub is a keeper and sets the bar. This is my second purchase of this stuff, and I think it’s the best. First off, the smell is great—masculine and fresh, but definitely not in-your-face perfumey. And I am incredibly picky about scent. I usually aim for non-scented everything, but this is the exception; it smells amazing. In fact, I wish Brickell would come out with a bodywash in this scent; I'd snap it up in a second. The real kicker, though, is how my skin looks right after using it. Smooth and clear, pores clean, and extra-ready for a close shave. I also like that the jojoba beads are biodegradable, so I can feel good about not trashing the planet while scrubbing away the day’s grime. The coffee extract and pumice do their job well, leaving my skin feeling super clean. I generally use this product every other day or so, and that seems to be the sweet spot for me -- I think using this daily would be a bit much for my skin type. Maybe your mileage will vary. This scrub is now a regular in my routine, along with several other Brickell products that I really love. If you’re looking for something that does what it says it will do and feels good to use, give it a shot. It’s worth it, and I believe you’ll like the results just as much as I do.

I'm a regular user of Brickell products, and this may be my favorite. I have used their charcoal and gel facial soaps, charcoal bar soap, shampoo/conditioner, gel and exfoliant body wash, and various SFP and moisturizing lotions. This product will go into my weekly regime...why? 1) Tiny beads are the perfect granularity to deep clean without seeming rough or gritty. 2) The scent is fantastic. It's fresh, citrusy, and leaves a very invigorating effect. 3) The gel consistency is easy to handle, and leaves my skin moisturized. It goes on slippery, but rinses easily with no residue. I'll use this wash 1-2x per week, as I like to vary the products I use on my body throughout the week. It is a bit expensive, but a small jar should last me a long time. I use ~ 0.75 teaspoon per application (didn't read instructions...just seems enough to me!), so if my math is correct this should last ~30 applications. Glad I found this one...

I was planning on giving this as a gift but accidentally got the 2oz size and it felt way to small. This company actually read my review and offered a refund to make sure my gift I was giving was the correct one, which I applied and got the 4oz Size instead! I'm in my 40's. This works great. The consistency is like jelly, with a small amount of beads. It goes on smooth. I work it in first thing, leave it on for a few minutes, then wash it off. Skin is super smooth. The scent in a subtle pleasant scent. I would describe it as kind of minty. I've tried other scrubs. Some are harsh, feel like sand paper. This one I would say is not aggressive. It does have the exfoliant, but it has a lot of moisturizer properties. Definitely can feel the aloe vera. No complaints. Would recommend. Would get it again.

I’m very satisfied and happy with the results of using this product. A little goes a long way. I use it three times a week and have noticed a big difference in the condition of my skin. It feels great, not too harsh, but just enough roughness to ensure it’s doing the job of removing dead skin and making my face come alive. Definitely a repeat user.

I have consistently bought this product for the last 2 or 3 years and use it EVERY day. I was a little disappointed when I received this latest bottle as it was smaller than previously purchased bottles. I thought OK, inflation has struck and they have downsized the product to meet a price point. I was even more disappointed when I opened this and used this as I can tell this particular bottle seems to have less exfoliate in it than previous bottles have had. Believe me, I can tell. Using this product every day for the last two years means I have used this on my face over 700 times- I can tell the difference. Come on guys, use the same amount of exfoliant and make the bottle the same size that it used to be. I’ll pay more- I just want the same product that I have been used to using- not this smaller watered down version that I am getting now.

I've been using this product for two weeks and loving it so far. It's just abrasive enough to do the job leaving my skin feeling fresh and clean and didn't dry it out.
