This product works as advertised, it will definitely give your body a good scrub, and you'll exit the shower with exfoliated and rejuvenated skin. Though honestly, I was a bit surprised by this product, I was expecting it to be very similar to the face scrub in texture and consistency, maybe it was just the bottle that I purchased, though I felt like the product itself was very dry and grainy, with the consistency of clay, and the texture of sand. I was expecting it to be more in line with the face scrub, which is very grainy, but has a wet feeling to it that applies to the skin a lot more seamlessly. This product performs the same function, but it will get caught up in a loofa because it's dry and not nearly as wet as the face scrub. Don't get me wrong, it still scrubs the body very well, I just think it could be refined to go on a little smoother. So I gave it a four star on ease of use, but I still gave it 5 stars as it works incredibly well. I would just recommend using your hand, and just scrubbing the areas of your body with this product in your hand, as opposed to a loofa. I'm definitely going to try this product again, it's possible that my product didn't have a great seal on it that may have dried it out a little bit, that happened to me with the shaving cream. Even still, I felt the product did a fine job once I found methods to utilize it that worked better for me personally. It is a body scrub as well, so it's entirely possible that it doesn't have as much moisturizer in it as the face scrub. I'd still prefer it be less dry, but I plan on having this in the rotation to exfoliate the body and keep my skin looking healthy.

I was skeptical, especially at the cost per container. Well, it is worth it. It is a bit gritty, you do NOT need to use a lot (about a teaspoon or less). My skin feels clean, smooth and looks brighter. I just feel better. A side benefit, my oldest brother now has diabetes and had a bout of leg sores from edema. Healed now, but the skin is nasty. So I gave him a jar to use, because you must exfoliate leg skin with diabetes. It has been a huge improvement and has helped with scaring and discolorations. While it is pricey, it does last and is a nice addition to taking good care of your skin.

I've been using Brickell products for over a year now and have only recently expanded beyond their amazing strengthening shampoo and revitalizing conditioner. Needless to say, the quality holds up, this body scrub is awesome! I had no idea what to expect because I've never really used a body scrub before, so you can imagine my surprise when the product had a consistency like fine dirt or sugar. But, my initial surprise aside, I dug in and got a couple fingertips' worth and got to scrubbing. I imagine it would go further with a loofah or washcloth, but I was able to get a pretty good lather going and you can feel this in action as you go, it's really refreshing and smells great, too. The price is definitely up there, but as with other Brickell products, it's made in the USA and it's all natural/organic, so that all contributes. I still think it's a bit on the expensive side, as great as the experience is, so I docked a star for that. I think I'll end up using it only once or twice a week to get as much longevity out of it as I can, especially since I'm pretty much exclusively at home these days.

I've used different kinds of body scrubs, primarily the kinds like Sabon that are a scrub with an oil or something. Because I have oily skin, I find that the additional oil wasn't good for me. This scrub has the consistency of brown sugar. I have sensitive skin and I was a little concerned that this was a dry scrub because the particles are fine (finer than sand) and I was thinking I might possibly end up drying out. Firstly, the scrub didn't end up feeling too rough (as long you're already wet). Second, I haven't found that my skin has been any more or less dry because of the scrub. If you have dry/sensitive skin like me, I would suggest making sure to do something to hydrate your skin. I plan to use this scrub maybe 2-3 times per week with a good moisturizer. Maybe more often if I scrub on days where I get sweaty. The scent is great. Not too strong. The only downsides 1) It's not a lot of scrub, so I will personally make sure to be conservative with my application 2) As with all scrubs, if you don't have a little spoon or scoop to help get the scrub out of the container, you might struggle with it. I have one from other scrubs, but I do think it would be great if Brickell could provide one.

Product came covered in oily residue. I assume it leaked out. Unsure how much that'll affect the scrub. Used the product and skin feels clean, but slightly dry. Maybe because the oil leaked out. Unfortunate.
