I have used another Braun epilator for years and lost the charger so I decided to buy an upgrade rather than just replace the charger. So I purchased the Silk-épil 9 360 Flex Epilator so I can get in hard to reach spots easier. All I can say is WOW I am impressed. Although I do not believe it can actually do a 360 (it’s more of a up down, and side to side motion), I still love the range of motion. I was epilating my Hoohah in the shower and I had to stop, turned it off and checked to see if I accidentally used a razor head because the Epilator Head motion and range made the whole epilating experience near painless in comparison to my old epilator. My old epilator finally died after about 5 years. I purchased a cheaper one that had good reviews and it was awful. It just broke my hair, wouldn't pick up most hairs and hurt super bad. This one I feel works very well. It still hurts because its and epilator but it hurts the least out of all the epilators I've had. This is my fourth one. This also helps me reach all parts of my legs since I had my spinal surgery. I can't bend over and twist like I used to. The head being able to rotate and move it extremely helpful and more comfortable. Definitely recommend this one. ... show more

    • The Bright LED Is a Deal Breake!

I bought this because it’s waterproof and thought it would be perfect to use in the shower. But, the built in LED light is one of the most annoying design choices I’ve ever seen. There is no option to turn it off, which makes absolutely no sense. Who epilates in the dark? Most people use it in a well-lit bathroom, so there’s no need for a tiny but surprisingly bright light shining directly onto your skin and into your eyes. Instead of helping, it creates glare and actually makes it harder to see the hairs in the exact area you’re trying to epilate. It literally creates a blind spot. Braun should have given users the option to turn the light on or off. Such a simple feature would have made this a much better product. I never would have bought it if I had known the light was permanently on. For a premium epilator, forcing customers to use a bright, useless light every single time is so frustrating. ... show more

Great epilator worth the price. I had been using an earlier model Braun for 6 years and just upgraded. This is a huge improvement. Much faster and I love the swivel head. Note that some of the non 5 star reviews are people that prefer shaving to epilating. Not comparing this epilator to other epilators. i love this epilator! its my first one but i am a 100% all in type of person. i didnt want to get a beginner one and have to then buy an expensive one later. this had great reviews on tiktok. i seriously use it everyday. (hair grows in cycles so theres always going to be new hair somewhere!!) i use it on my arms, underarms, legs, and around my belly button. it honestly only hurt the first time i did it. doing it daily really reduces the pain bc theres a lot less hair being pulled at once so i highly recommend keeping up with it at least 1-2 x weekly. just depends on the type of person you are. im newly diagnosed trichotillomania and i needed an alternative to tweezers and shaving. my skin is super sensitive and i have KP. so i needed to not tweeze and not got razor bumps or ingrowns from shaving. ... show more

The Braun Wet and Dry Silk-épil 9 Flex Epilator with the 360 Flex and Pivoting Head with Shaver Head (ASIN: B0FNXC28MM) is an effective device, however, it is not comfortable to use. Printed multi language instructions accompanied the unit. I feel the instructions could have been a little be more detailed when discussing technique. Epilator Head – The epilator head was painful each time I used it. Per the instructions, one should experience less pain with each use, and I agree that each use was less difficult than the first time. It is just that with my blond leg hair I have less incentive to endure the discomfort. Shaver Head – With the shaver head comb in use it cut the hair to about 3mm in length. Without the comb in place and wet shaving, I achieved a closer cut, but not as close as using a common women’s disposable razor. However, the shaver stands out as an advantage over the disposable razor when a dry shave is required. Dry shaving is superior with the shaver head. The value of this device depends on the incentive. If I had dark leg hair to work with, I am sure I would endure more discomfort to achieve the visual result I require. ... show more
