Couldn’t give this 5 stars because of a few annoying things, but I’m glad I found it. I bought it mainly for dark chin hair and upper lip. It does a great job of getting rid of it, on an equal par with laser treatments. Some tips: be patient, there’s a learning curve. And it does hurt the most the first time or two. You are removing a lot of hair, it’s going to hurt. Again, to me it’s on the same level as laser hair removal as far as discomfort. Totally doable for the nice results. Take some breaks the first few times. You have to hold it at a 90 degree angle to your skin, not tilted. Don’t push down. Pull your (clean and dry) skin tight. It’s important to go at the hair from all angles, always on tight skin. you. Once that hair is out, it’s out for weeks. After the first time or two, I now use the higher speed. Annoying things: the directions and pictures are terrible. Spend some money on your literature with larger print and clearer pictures. It is hard to turn on and off with wet or damp fingers. And I don’t feel it stays charged very long at all, still charged but you can hear it’s not rotating as fast. I sense this becoming a problem. My skin is now soft and clear and I couldn’t be happier about that!

I have been a habitual waxer for the past 3 years but it's getting expensive to visit a salon and waxing at home sucks because getting the back of my legs is like doing gymnastics. I just waxed a few days ago so I was looking to get an epilator quick before my hair starts growing back. The less hair the less it hurts I could tell this as soon as I tried it, its not bad but again im a waxer so use to the sting. I wish I had known about these things forever ago. I am never going back to shaving or waxing! I like to use it on the faster speed for a faster pull, the light on it worked great in lighting up the hair and I love the attachments. It's super quick and easy to clean. It didn't take long to epilate either which is nice because I hate spending a lot of time on my legs. This left my legs smooth! All in all I would purchase again but hopefully it last me a very long time but it's worth the money!

It’s a good product if you’re not going to use the shaver everyday, Unfortunately the shaver head broke and put a big scar on my face, super cheap material, So disappointed.

I would definitely say to prepare for the amount of pain for the first session. I chose to wax first then as the hair was coming back in to use the app later. It works really well I love all of the features, the light and pressure indicator are probably the top features I didn’t really think you would need. The light is really useful to be able to see the hairs since the tool kind of blocks your light. By having the pressure indicator it really helps to make sure you have a light touch. If you have any skin that is loose or you are larger and you put pressure down you will get a little pinches. It is very important as you’re using the tool to hold your skin tight if it is not like it naturally. The inner thigh is mainly where you would have this issue.It is definitely worth the price and the pain gets more tolerable as you go along. If you are using a growth inhibitor as well overtime your hair will grow in less and less. My hair is very dense so I normally do it once a week just so it is less painful and I stay smooth way longer than I ever would with shaving. I normally wax myself but it is harder to get the back of my thighs so this is perfect because you don’t have to see what you’re doing necessarily and you can still get hard to reach areas.

I love my Braun Epilator Silk. It's just as useful for men as it is for women. If you're used to waxing, the epilator will rip the hair off in a fraction of the time. It's waterproof and can be used in the shower, although i have better results epilating dry hair. It has a handy auto-stop anytime it snags anything other than hair, which makes it intrinsically safe to use. This has changed me. I can epilate the hair off my back and butt easily with this, and it stays smooth for weeks. This is so much better than waxing and way better than shaving. I'm surprised more people don't use this, because it would put waxing salons out of business! It's so easy to use, and well built. I've dropped it multiple times, and everything breaks apart on impact and can easily be reassembled. It was designed very well, and i imagine i'll have it for many more years.

I have used this for about a year now and only had to charge it up 3 times so far. I use it weekly as an epilator and use the shaver for gentle areas, love the facial massager - my skin always feels really smooth after using it. Have suggested it to several friends I am so impressed with it.
