I ordered him the size 10 they fit him perfect in the legs but the waist is way too big. I do believe a belt will help with a little bit of adjusting. My younger son wears a size 5 to 6 in pants adjustable waist. I completely give up ordering clothes off of Amazon. Nothing is ever true to size when you receive it. This pair of jeans has no stretch. It is a size 16, but fits more like a 10 and not to mention it is dirty!!! Very disappointing!!!
