Each drawer features ball-bearing drawer slides with a self close design for smooth drawer operation. Four drawers are 1-14 deep and the fifth drawer is 2-14 deep for your larger tools or items. The top lid is secured to the chest with a full width metal hinge pin and provides a 2-14 deep storage space. Keep your tool investment secure with the key lock or digit-lock combination locking system.

    • POOR VALUE AND MARGINAL QUALITY

For $500+ I expected much better quality. Granted it is billed as a hand carry box so weight savings may have something to do with it. The drawer slides are not great and the lid latch is horrible and prone to falling shut unexpectedly if you're used to gas struts. I is a simple collapsing hinge mechanism. I need a box for my truck bed and am installing a cargo slider which makes this box too tall. Now I will have to fabricate some recess in the floor of the slider, if possible, to use this in its intended manner. I have owned boxes from Snap-on, Costco, big box stores and harbor freight. This is my least favorite. I bought it on the company website and regret doing so. The have a 10 day return policy in original packaging with a 20% restocking fee and the buyer pays return shipping. add it all up and you incur at least a 30% loss if you don't like the product. Not a very good business model for an online only company. You better like it or be prepared to pay a steep fee! Buyer beware, not sure if amazon's excellent return policies apply if purchased here. This is a solid $250 box and at double that price you would at least expect someone to answer their online chat or accept a phone call. I called them several times and left messages along with attempting to use the online chat and they finally connected via their website chat after about three hours. Not even one of those annoying automated responses to let me know they received my communication. I will not consider this company for any further purchases and haven't been this disappointed with an overall buying experience or product vs price in a very long time. I don't write reviews but felt compelled to make others aware of this experience in the hopes that it helps them make a fully informed decision.
