This is my second bottle. The first one I damaged by accidentally heating up the silica packet. I made sure to read instructions for second bottle! Turns out it didnt matter as product was defective and leaked everywhere from a little rectangular hole it has at the bottom. Would also like to add that neither bottle warmed water to the temperature they were set to. Unfortunately, I tossed the box and cannot return.

I love this warmer. I like that you can use it as both battery and electrical plug. When you use it with the electrical plug, it’s heated to the perfect temperature within a few minutes. It does take longer to heat with the battery but I would just give myself about 20 minutes before I knew I needed it ready. I was concerned when I saw reviews about an issue with mold inside of it but I kept it clean well and dried and didn’t have those issues. We just got back from a trip to Disney and it was a lifesaver for the road trip and days at the park. I just wish I would’ve bought this sooner!

*[Update]* - the Mercalon team reached out later on and offered to replace the faulty bottle. As such, I'd give their support credit and update the overall rating/impression a bit. --- [Original review] We bought this bottle 2-3 months ago. The idea of having a portable warmer (for baby formula) when traveling seemed very tempting. Unfortunately, the devil is in the details (implementation and quality). The "user experience" of the bottle is quite confusing: - you can re-charge the bottle battery over the USB-C port but not over the standard AC power adapter. I don't recall seeing it anywhere in the instruction. It was via the Mercalon support line that I learned it. - When on AC power, the bottle heats up the contents extremely fast and doesn't stop once it reaches the magic 100F mark (unlike when in the battery-powered mode). The (lack of) reliability and support: but one can put up with a lot of deficiencies as long as the product kinda "works". Except that it doesn't anymore: after a few months it just started randomly showing "E1" text on the screen, which, after checking the very brief instruction manual, is something that needs to be reported to the Mercalon support (most likely a faulty temperature sensor). Unfortunately, Mercalon support has been *dead silent* ever since we reported the issue.

After using the Baby Brew bottle warmer (which requires you to turn a bottle upside down to warm the milk) switching to this warmer was the best decision we ever made! Being able to warm the milk up by itself and then pour into a clean bottle was effortless. To help keep it clean at the end of the night we would heat up water to the 212 setting to help get whatever we couldn’t get earlier in the day. Even our babysitter said how easy it was to use having no prior experience with bottle warmers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I used this for 4 days while traveling and it was amazing! Easy to use, easy to clean and quick. 4 days later I went to turn it on to heat up water for a bottle and I clicked the temp I wanted it to be and it started warming up and just turned off. I plugged in the charger wire for the past 5 hours and it is still doing the same thing.

The media could not be loaded. I love this product, because with two small children under the age of 3 life gets a little easier when you are out and about and have a formula or milk warmer like this on hand. It is made of a durable material on the outside, the buttons are conveniently placed on the bottom, and are not super touch-sensitive. You can use it plugged in, or without any cords. Fits into my diaper bag, does not take up too much space. The inside it all metal, easy to wash. That’s the main reason why I purchased it, and have not regretted it!

I would love to give a great review but o obviously got a defective one and can’t get a response from the company and can’t return bc it was out of the return window. I charged it before first use like the instructions said and it took 10 mins and it didn’t even get to 98° then it went dead. Wouldn’t recharge.
