I purchased this product thinking it was better than most others. When I received product the back pad was pealed back. I called bote to see what I could do. They said to use the provided glue to glue it down and also gave me the name of another product I ordered (25.00) after using it one time the bote emblem started air bubbles on the board. I took the sup to the bote store in grayton beach, they told me it was a defective board and to file a warranty. I did and they came back and told me to pop the bubble with a pin but to be cautious. Haha are you serious! This is a known problem but yet not a warranty covered issue. Terrible customer service and product! Buy a “drift” sup exactly the same but better quality, my girlfriend ordered it and we liked it much better and it was 200.00 cheaper. ... show more

    • Horrible customer service and nonexistent warranty

After having my paddleboard for only nine months with very minimal usage I noticed two air bubbles in the deck padding. Specifically they were located where my feet would be placed while utilizing the paddleboard which basically renders this a safety hazard and useless to me. I initially reached out to Customer Support in March 2022 and was told to attempt needle decompression and if this wouldn’t work a warranty claim would be filed. Needle decompression was attempted and unsuccessful unfortunately. Come to find out the customer service team decides that this is not under warranty now, and that it is a “aesthetic malfunction“ and not considered under any warranty. The customer service at BOTE is horrendous. This by far has to be one of the worst experiences with a company’s customer service I’ve ever experienced. We will no longer be purchasing any products from BOTE ever again. You’d be wise to stay away from a company who charges a ton of money to buy their products and then essentially has ridiculous and virtually nonexistent warranty/return polices. Beware. ... show more

Be WARNED, BOTE has return policies that block returns and refunds. There is a 30 day return limit, must have original box, only 3 days to return damaged products. Also, BOTE will NOT pay the return shipping charges. Customer service becomes rude and disrespectful. I received a Destroyed damage KULA cooler caused by FedEX and BOTE would not except the return or refund the money. I also had the KULA rack that I no longer needed and BOTE would not waive the fees/shipping costs. I also bought a second AERO chair that did not want because the first AERO was so uncomfortable, and they would not waive the fees/shipping. Remember the 30 day return policy, I did not get the products from FedEx until 28 days from purchase date. 2 days did not provide time to even open the boxes. Again BOTE would not accept the responsibility and refund my money. The made me pay the 20% restocking fee and shipping. These are online purchases and BOTE has put in place return policies that block returns and refunds for good or damaged condition products. ... show more
