I was attracted to the gold color of the stapler, and I was not disappointed! The gold stapler adds a sense of professionalism and quality to my desk accessories. The size is comfortable and fits perfectly in my hand; perfect for one-handed stapling. So why did I only give this a 4-star rating? When it arrived, I was shocked to see that there weren't any staples in the staple compartment! Not only that, there was a message on the floor of the staple compartment which says: USE BOSTITCH STANDARD STAPLES. This should have been clearly delineated on the order page to give consumers a heads-up! I already had some staples, so I ignored the message (or should I say 'warning'?), and loaded the stapler with standard staples. Within one day of using my standard staples, the BOSTITCH stapler kept jamming. So I'm back on Amazon to order the BOSTICH staples and write this review - which will be updated if I see any improvement by using BOSTITCH staples. ... show more

This will staple a little bit more than 45 sheets of paper. I have one in my office at work and loved it so much I bought one for home to staple large bundles of paper together. A coworker like mine so much she bought one for herself instead of the ones they give us at work.
