  • Great Pedal for Fender amps
Style: WAZA Craft Pattern Name: Pedal
This pedal is stellar. I have a Deluxe Reverb Tonemaster and this pedal gets me the right kind of tonal grit for both overdriven clean and crunch. Works great for both. I always thought I was a Marshall Mesa guy but these Fenders have made me a believer in the Tonemaster thing. BUT, my pedals were not cutting it until I tried this one. Seems made for Fender but works great with my other amps too. Cannot recommend enough!! ... show more

  • There’s a reason so many love this pedal!
Style: Standard Pattern Name: Pedal
Don’t be fooled by the name- I’ve played guitar for over 25 yrs and never tried this pedal until now because I wasn’t a “blues” player. This is probably the most versatile od AND distortion pedal that I have come across for the price. I have tried the Donner “blues drive” which is supposed to be similar to this pedal and while it is a nice pedal, the “sparkle” and “clarity” was missing. Another thing… the gain on this pedal is insane- lots of gain on tap and as gain increases the bass seems to increase as well which might not be for everyone. I’ve found success using this as a standalone overdrive, a “boost” for another pedal or amp, and a distortion. Great pedal, I can now see why this pedal is so revered and “modded” by others. ... show more

  • One of my favorites!
Style: Standard Pattern Name: Pedal
This Boss Blues Driver has become one of my new favorites. It sounds good solo, or grouped with other pedals. The sound is so nice. It is a really sturdy pedal too. It also sounds good with a variety of guitars (Strat, LP, Flying V). It even sounds good on a small practice amp. Whether you are in a band or just a home noodler, you will love this pedal. If you only ever splurge on one Boss pedal, this is the one to get. ... show more

  • One of the must have overdrive pedals.
Style: Standard Pattern Name: Pedal
I like bluesy overdrive pedals and this one is one of the must haves. I have a Tube Screamer, A Bad Monkey and this one in my pedal string. All three are my favorites. I have a TS9, and a Blues Driver II and a Mojo tone but the Boss is first among almost equals.
