Was looking for a large and tall mug for daily use. I’d been using the same mug everyday for years, until I dropped it in the sink 😢. I’d received it as a gift, and never thought to measure its capacity - so I was just hoping to find something comparable. Been using this Bosmarlin mug for a few days now and I’m quite happy with it. This mug is even bigger than I anticipated, which I love. (I didn’t do any measuring at all, I was just winging it while browsing for a replacement). Photo shows middle setting on Keurig brewer, still tons of room in this bad boy. This mug is very attractive, the colors are beautiful in person. So far it seems to be great quality, no cracks or chips. It’s advertised as dishwasher safe but I can’t speak to that, so far I’ve only hand washed. ... show more

Read some negative reviews so I decided to test this thing carefully before deciding to keep it. The Amazon shipping cardboard box showed signs of rough handling, crunches and abrasions but the inner box and form fitting foam packaging was intact and the cup was undamaged. It arrived when our January local temperature was negative nine degrees so it passed the cold test. Ran it through the dishwasher. Boiled water in it in the microwave. Banged a spoon around inside to stir the cream and sugar. No signs of weakness or damage. Holds a bit more than 18 ounces full so about 2 cups (16 oz.) useful volume. The one I received looks like the Amazon photo. I purchased it because of the shape. The bottom is broad making it extra stable so less likely to tip when bumped. The upper lip curls out slightly making it easier to drink from. After two weeks of three times per day use, the thing is holding up and has become my new favorite mug. I feel sorry for the people who had bad experiences but that is the beauty of Amazon. Got a problem? Just return. ... show more

Updated below from a 1 star to a 5 star 🌟 I received this cup and left in the box. When I took this cup out of the box and hand washed it. The base of the cup has chips that were broken off and crack in glaze below handle. I tried contacting the manufacturer which did not respond back to me, SAD. I bought a blue one as well, I was happy with until I found defectives in the glaze as well. UPDATE: Bosmarlin showed up with a replacement cup with no issues. I'm glad this worked out so I would have this size coffee/ tea cup. I love the green color. I also bought the blue one with no issues. Will buy again. ... show more

I saw these mugs and could not wait to get them. I ordered 10. Not inexpensive, but it is difficult to find a large, quality mug. Unfortunately, there appears to be some major manufacturing flaw with these mugs. Two of them cracked within seconds of adding hot coffee. The mugs were at room temperature and the coffee was from a Ninja coffee-maker. The first mug cracked and spilled coffee all into my kitchen cabinets. The second cracked over the sink (I was being cautious). However, these are too dangerous to use. It would have been very bad had it cracked while trying to drink a hot beverage. PERFECTION! I do 12oz of coffee with 1/3 cup creamer and it fits perfectly. I’m also obsessed with the color and shape. Very pretty and sturdy :)
