So, there are 2 main points to note here. First, the packaging is horrible. There's really no other way to explain this. Seller readily admits that they have poor packaging, but that they need to exhaust all current stock of their packaging before updating to something else. I suppose by their calculations it must be cheaper to send out a replacement mug than to ensure the first one gets there safely. To this point, I can say that the seller indeed does stand behind their product 100%! After contacting them regarding my first mug which arrived in a pile of shards as shown, they immediately sent out a replacement which arrived a day later. EXCELLENT! Something to note here is that although seller packaging isn't very good, the issue is mostly in how Amazon ships the item itself. The first mug came in an envelope! Who puts a fragile ceramic item in an envelope!!? So that part is on Amazon, not the seller. The replacement mug came in the same poor packaging, but was shipped in a BOX which helped to protect it. That came directly from the seller, not Amazon. Second part of review is about the mug itself. This is a very nice mug for the price point. It is a glazed stoneware mug and by most standards, a large one. It has a good feel and can hold nearly 20oz of beverage at 4" wide and 3.5" deep (2 cup measuring glass for scale). The glazing is varied in finish and adds a bit of design detail which of course is subjective to your particular taste. As the pictures show, the top 2 layers of color along with the inside of mug are shiny and smooth, while the bottom part is matte with a duller non shiny finish. This carries through to the handle as well. I can confirm that it can be placed in microwave with no issues. I haven't tried the dishwasher as I washed it by hand, but it does say it's dishwasher safe. Overall, this is a 5 star item that would benefit from better packaging, but is backed up by a solid seller who stands by their product.

This mug is exactly what I wanted! The size is perfect and it’s beautifully made! It doesn’t feel fragile; it’s solidly made. Sure it may cost a little bit more for just one mug, but it’s absolutely worth the price! I love the colors, too. I’ll definitely be purchasing more for myself and as gifts.

I love that the mug is sturdy, large enough to hold my morning coffee and the textures. The blue color is darker than what shows in the pictures, and in my picture. It more of a teal than the aqua I was hoping for. The handle should be thicker in order to handle the weight and size of the mug. All in all I am very happy with it. It gives the beachy vibe I was hoping for.

I was looking for a large, blue, sturdy mug with a solid base. Luckily, I found what I wanted. This Bosmarlin mug is beautiful and it can hold up to 21 oz (~621 ml) liquid. Even when it's filled up with hot tea, it's safe to carry. I'm very happy with my purchase. 💙☕💙

This mug is beautiful and one of a kind. It will hold enough coffee or tea to last you for a while. And, if you have a mug warmer, it will keep your beverage nice and hot. You can hold it with one or both hands. Either way is comfortable. Giftable? Yes. But you will probably want to keep it for yourself. My mug arrived with a broken handle (packaging was perfect) due to the rough handling by delivery services. Sellers' taking care of this issue was fantastic. Their immediate response was amazing. As of right now, I am enjoying my coffee, sipping it from my new beautiful mug. Please note, since it is a ceramic mug, it keeps temperature of liquid longer.
